  1. Surely vast majority whole played the game Wednesday do not play tomorrow. Mentally and physically, they all need a rest because the games are thick and fast afterwards and this is one to semi write off. Pope: Trippier, Miley, Botman, Tino: Ramsey, Miley, Willock: Park, Wissa, Murphy Miley and Thaiw forced to play due to lack of options and all three main CMs need resting.
  2. I’d be a bit concerned if we don’t bring in one player this window, and will be fully prepared for Wilson walking in summer.
  3. If he wants to stay in London, he’ll stay put because Arsenal and Chelsea will 100% want him on a free. If he’s not fussed about moving north, he’ll leave this window. Bit like the Rice situation, the clubs will know if Guehi wants to stay in London and no bids this window would indicate that if so.
  4. I don’t think any top end club will in Prem, too much negative connotation in the short term. More likely to end up moving to a top Italian side or Real Madrid if they sell Vini / Rodrygo in summer IMO. It’s a weird situation, because he is genuinely as elite as Saka / Foden, but won’t ever be viewed in this country in same way.
  5. I’m always amazed community shield isn’t rebranded and played abroad (like America) to attract more sums.

    Nick Woltemade

I’m not worried about Wolte at all, I’m more worried about rest of the team.
  7. I mean, it would be pretty jokes if Wilson left in summer having done nothing after Mitchell literally done the same
  8. Miley RB performances may be shifting things if Miley is happy playing there. Could mean if Murphy is potentially moved as a back up RB, that we have a collection of Miley, Murphy, Tino and Hall for full backs which I wouldn't be against if there's not a player out there who's happy to be rotation. Means we can wait till summer 2027 if needs be and go with CM and RW options which are still issues.
  9. He'll effectively be 5th choice next season (because surely we sign a CB with a succession plan in mind?), in which case it would have to be heavily reduced wages and incentivised on pay as you play. Which covers him as he recovers (if it's worse case and goes into next season), but he likely can get a 2 year deal somewhere, so he may rightly want to leave and get that final pay/experience instead of being a cheerleader if he's back by end of season.

    Yoane Wissa

This I've noticed quite a bit in his games. Even some were not flagged as the ball didn't make it to him but he would've been off. He's like to focussed on the cross and not watching the line around him, which hopefully it just a bit of rust and getting up to speed. Intention of his movement is good, just needs to do it a yard deeper.
  11. If they didn’t spend 30+ seconds to take every throw in our half, then sure, they can complain.

    Nick Pope

Hopefully it’s rustiness, but his decision making when to come for the ball is really iffy. The missing of the flight is self explanatory, poor and massive slice of luck on both it hitting the cross bar and missing DCL when it came down. The confusion between him and Botman, he didn’t need to be where he was as Botman was in charge. Then before both I think, there was a ball clipped down our right channel where I didn’t think he was going to make it because he hesitated, but just got there before the attacker to put it in the stands. Shots at him, I’m more confident than Ramsdale though.
  13. I mean he is playing Dyche ball, where the ball is twatted long and possession is near non-existent. Probably the last manager he needs to be playing under right now.

    Malick Thiaw

Glad we won for his sake. He can now go into training and be ripped by his teammates for that first goal, and it brushed off as a laugh and forget. Mind back on how he’s mostly been for us, which is strong at the back.
  15. One thing that’s pleasing whilst similar issues happening, are the wins. Rather we stumble and win whilst we eventually get it sorted, instead of losing. Game for first 60 felt like West Ham home game last season, but this time we kept it within reach (with some luck on ourside) and came out on top this time. Don’t know what Plan A* is right now for our approach to games. Only thing that’s recognisable in our play to me, is whoever is RW, they’re informed to cross at every opportunity. Rest of it just feels like winging it, which leads to games being scrappy and possession easily lost. Said before game I was surprised Ramsey didn’t start because the midfield as a collective hasn’t been solid and it was their 4th outing together in a row in a short space of time. The change at HT signalled that (just with Miley moving central and Tino on at RB). *I know what the plan is though when we play a big name side at home, and that’s a ferocious front press from word go. Full rotation of whoever didn’t start last night at weekend, with every spot for Man City game up for grabs so people can prove they deserve a start for that one. Ramsdale: Trippier, Thaiw, Botman, Tino: Miley, Willock, Ramsey: Barnes, Wolte, Murphy
  16. Ake just as likely to break down. Giving Chelsea bat shit situation and the young guy back out of favour, I’d want us to try for Josh Achaempong whilst there would be a small window open. Likely be £30m+, but I’m all in on him being as legit as Lewis Hall. The perfect RCB that can also provide RB cover as a sitting recovery RB.
  17. Who ever we had lined up as the summer CB to replace Schar, we have to bring forward now. Even if it means a premium, unfortunately our hand is forced.
  18. He was colossal tonight to be fair. Bullied our defence and such small margins to not having 2 or 3 goals Think Leeds will turn a good profit on him in summer if he doesn’t break down by then.
  19. Needs a few games rested. He’s off the ball is still great, never knock that. Just on the ball it’s so poor right now and it’s negatively impacting us.
  20. FA Cup now so they have to suck it up for a while. Hopefully they go out to compound it.

    Jacob Ramsey

Big shoutout to this guy. The slip was the catalyst to us winning 4-3.

    Joelinton

Another performance that was strong in presence. Need to rotate him though so we can see more of this Joelinton in 2nd half and not run him down again.
  23. The little run was giving me Eze flashbacks
