Think I prefer Barnes on RW after the last two games. Feels a better balance when the RW is direct, and Barnes seems more effective than Gordon in that role. I don’t think we’ll sign a RW now. And it’s a case of those two being wingers than Joe x 2 LW and Murphy / Miggy RW the back up options if injuries happen.

Middle and final third, he’s great with ball. Our own third, he’s great without the ball. As soon as he had the ball though in our own third, I’m really on edge as he tries technical parts which he just doesn’t have and loses it in such dangerous areas. Still, him LCM and Gordon LW, will help Hall out loads, and Hall and Gordon will help out Joelinton loads on the technical ball retention.

Great start, looked bloody good first 10 minutes. Then soon as Forest upped the intensity, we’ve gone missing again. Unable to control the play and turned it into yet another scrappy game. Just doesn’t feel sustainable when games are often turned into this. Half Time rejig because of the Willock sub, calm heads, and we should get back in control against this Forest XI.

Biggest defender of Hall I feel, but he’s not having a great time with the one v one battles tonight. Going forward fine, but needs to be a bit more wiser in the defensive battles. Doesn’t have to try and nick it every time.
