  1. We need players on par with what the top 2/3 have. We have a handful at the minute, the more the better. Obviously it's nice to get unknown gems who we can develop, but if we have a chance to sign 2-3 proven quality and can afford it then it's a no-brainer.
  2. So as long as they're all playing well and up for it, and Isak, Murphy & Bruno are playing shit (still disagree) but still scoring and assisting, we'll be fine.
  3. Nah, just back into winning trophies.
  4. Who are the less main ones? "One of the few" when all you can do is list a few who you feel haven't?
  5. His first full season was on par with Gordon last season, and he's been better than him this year tbf.
  6. Not sure to be honest. I could just see him being the big hitter that might go to enable 3-4 top signings. He seems in a bracket £20m or so above a group of players who I reckon could come in and do the same job. Not sure we could do it with Bruno, Tonali, Isak for instance.
  7. In terms of PSR though, if you sold Gordon for say £80m and replaced with Cunha for £60m or whatever, it'd allow more signings? Similar to how selling ASM for £25m allowed us to go and get Barnes & Livramento.
  8. Don't they get extra prize money just for being Man Utd basically, like they did last season?
  9. Is that not part of the reijg around swapping Tonali & Bruno though? Get the ball to the playmaker asap and look for the runs of Barnes, Murphy & Isak? In an era where people are bemoaning Pep's tactics, we seem to have a way of trying to get the ball forward as quick as we can.
  10. There was a video ages ago from when he played there where he says Olivier Bernard stank.
  11. It's absolutely turgid this whole thing. What are Bournemouth supposed to do? Just accept being a Sheff Utd?
  12. I didn't understand the massive confidence then. Even though it wasn't the Man U we knew, we were in a similar position in the table and were away. Home team would have the edge. This time we're a good distance apart in the league and at home. Far more confident.

  14. I think the fact we have an upper mid-table team who could make the Semis shows a lot.
  15. Ideally he'd he'd 5-6th choice? 15-20 games max you'd expect, mainly in cups and lesser teams. Swap loan for Ndidi or something.
  16. I like PSG since they seem to have gone past this "galactic" era.
  17. I think it'd be a class move. Not as much pressure, at the very least Europa League, more than likely Champions League football where he'll start every week. Smash it there and he walks in as number 1 striker at most clubs. Would love him here but could only see it if Isak pushed for a move and we bit.
  18. When was the last time we were the 4/4.30pm slot on a Sunday in the league? Seems ages.
  19. Wonder if against Crystal Palace who we seem to have a ball ache breaking down, you could sacrifice Joelinton and maybe go with all 3 of Barnes, Gordon & Murphy, with Tonali & Bruno the double pivot?
  20. It's not uncommon for clubs to go from NL to League 1 pretty quickly too. Seems dated to have only 2 clubs being able to go up.
  21. Who was the last young player we loaned to a PL club out of interest. Milner? Leeds would be a good move if they could guarantee him 20-25 starts or something. Again, I'd only loan him out if we could get a short term CM back up for a season.
  22. Could they attract Sean Dyche? I don't like him but should be good for an instant promotion and at least making them fight to stay up.
  23. I've always said I like the idea of keeping young players around rather than loans so they can train with the squad, feel involved, learn from Eddie, etc. with Miley though he's already had a run of senior games, played at the highest level. Just feel a season of regular football would be his natural next step.
