Troll
Arsenal away seems like the perfect game to go back to the 433 - Allardyce has already had some success against the gunners with this formation. Karjala
With this being Carling Cup, will Radio Newcastle and Century be allowed to stream their commentary online? (and i wonder if you can be outside of the uk to tune in!) EDIT: nufc.com - Radio: BBC Radio Newcastle has live commentary but due to licensing restrictions this is not available online. However Radio Five Live are running trailers confirming that we are their commentary game (with Reading v Liverpool on their Sports Extra channel). Guest Honorable Geordie
To win this I'd suggest playing the strongest, most balanced team of: Harper/Given Beye Roz Taylor Enrique Milner Geremi/Faye Emre Zog Viduka Martins Let's have a little creativity with the bruising.. Gallowgate End
Sounds like Wenger is struggling for Centre backs with Senderos the only real centre half in his Squad for tonight. So he is set to give all round midfielder Alexandre Song a start alongside Senderos at Centre back... http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?thisNav=news&article=482063&cpid=703&title=Wenger+-+Don%27t+misjudge+Alex+Song I hope Big Sam is postive and plays Viduka rather then resting him for this one, Viduka and Martins could really do some damage against Song and Senderos. Guest ExiledGeordie
Viduka won't play after picking up that knock on sunday and he'll be crucial for that massive game at City. Emre isn't match fit yet so he definitely won't start either. We can still field a tough, solid side though no doubt about that.
Cajun
Would probably line up like this: Given Beye Taylor Faye Enrique Geremi Butt Milner Martins Smith NZogbia Give some players a run out/another 90mins. Aggressive defence, hard working midfield and pace in attack. Forgot about Emre apparently being fit for this, swap him for Milner.

Game's looking a sitter for Newcastle.

toptoon
Must admit since Arsenal are playing with their kids, imo its the perfect oppourtunity to hit them hard with the best 442 team (well left) available to us (see my sig bellow imo). That could well result in a fantastic thriller of a match! They probably woulden't expect us to do this either and we could catch them offguard and pull off a surprise win, especially since its against inexperienced youngsters. However i agree SA will probably want to try to nulify their game, frustrate the hell out of them, drag them down into the gutter with us to slug it out and try to nick a goal and defend it. Its not always the prettyest football but the man seems to know how to get results (as our league position proves) and thats all really that maters! As i said I hope for the 442 in my sig but expect more of a bruising midfield: Given Beye? Taylor Roze Enrique Smith Butt/Faye Geremi Martins Ameobi Zoggy
