You look at the first few minutes, adapt to the fast pace they've set and try to keep it tight. Did Sam send them out and say 'Just sit on your arses for ten minutes'? yeah its a stupid position, but no pint in loking at what has happened we have to move on and fight to get something out of this game! Portsmouth is probably the team Sam wishes he could have put together at Newcastle. 4-3-3 with a bunch of absolute beasts on the park who can also play a bit of football.
