James
We've been through this routine many times now, but today is the first day of the new board's first ever search for a Newcastle United manager. Who would you like to see at the helm?
Karjala
Mourinho. Would take Van Gaal, Hiddink, Lippi, maybes Houllier. Might be ambitious but thats who i would WANT. Have a horrible feeling McClaren could be in the running though.

Guest ALNO1
think it could be Redknapp :-[
colinmk
I'm hoping they have someone else pretty much in the bag or else it seems like a dodgy decision, there are quite a few top managers available so i'm hoping for one of them.
Guest shaun11177
Mourinho is a cert for AC Milan-forget him. Strachan or Shearer to be realistic.
Dr. TC
I think it's most likely to be Martin Jol personally. Dunno how I feel about this.
Yorkie
I honestly cannot believe we're discussion new manager candidates. Again. Surreal.
stozo
Mourinho obviously the best candidate out there. No idea who else I'd want.
johnnypd
fuck knows. someone with a track record, would be nice if they got their sides playing attractive football but by no means absolutely neccessary.

Guest gggg
Mourinho and Lippi? Typical mong-tastic stuff. Prepare to be let down.
GeordieDazzler
Van Gaal?
Jamie
Well i dont think Ahsley and Mort would've blown off their seats when they heard Strachan calling like. I believe that this manager actaully will be something, and that's why Big Sams been sacked so quickly. Theres no other reason. Has to be Mourinho or Lippi....i'd prefer Jose

James
Those mentioning Jol should take note about the fact that Mike Ashley's biggest mate in business and football, ex-Spurs Vice Chairman Paul Kemsley was desperate to get shot of Martin Jol. Guest Ebolarama
As long as it's not Shearer, I don't really care anymore.
