Sifu
Was thinking about that article earlier, do they just pick a club at random to link a player with without actually thinking about it? No mention of Petr Cech who's only 29 or Courtois who they spent a fortune on in the summer. Maybe Joe Kinnear had a point after all... Looks like it.... Aye but you could at least see where he would fit in at Spurs considering the age of Friedel and shitness of Gomes
Fenham Mag
The latest worry is that the brilliant form of young Tim Krul will have Chelsea calling with £20 million. Andre Villas-Boas certainly wants a new keeper. That's on top of the clubs courting Tiote. And Coloccini. Rich pickings for Ashely, a man who knows when the price is right. This is which particularly annoyed me.
Guest BooBoo
It's annoying because it's highly plausible.

David Icke - Son of God
Why would Chelsea want Krul when they've Cech just about to reach what are widely considered the 'golden years' in goalkeeping terms and Courtois, who they just paid £5 million last summer, tearing it up at Athletico? Guest Geordiesned
Sky have surpassed themselves with their bias tonight. Apparently we don't exist anymore! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y232/Geordiesned/35b162fc.jpg

Guest Geordiesned
Maybe we weren't the 7th biggest chance creator... Maybe that's actually what the table was but they introduced it as the chances created by the top 6 sides.
relámpago blanco
Maybe we weren't the 7th biggest chance creator... Depends what you consider a chance, imo everytime Demba Ba touches the ball is a chance so we need to know how many times he has touched the ball this season. David Icke - Son of God
I think they meant that those sides were the top 6 chance creators in the league.
Tiresias
It's good to create lots of chances, but if you make loads and don't do anything with them it's pretty damning. We've put away our chances and reaped the rewards.

Guest Geordiesned
A good table would be how many of Liverpoo's chances has Andy Carroll wasted?
MKSC
A good table would be how many of Liverpoo's chances has Andy Carroll wasted? Harsh on Carroll IMO. How many goals has Kuyt scored? And Suarez has 2 goals in his last 11 Premier League starts. He's hardly been the success he was being touted as before the ban. Downing has 1 cup goal, Henderson? Adam? Nobody at Liverpool is scoring at the minute, not just Carroll. He could be a success there if they just played to his strengths. Ridiculous to think that Chelsea and Liverpool have both spunked so much wedge on strikers and then completely ignore them when setting up their teams and tactics. (that goes for henderson aswell, honestly haven't noticed downing)
ChrisMcQuillan
Btw, did Sky really shorten their EPL table so it didn't feature us?

(that goes for henderson aswell, honestly haven't noticed downing) Kuyt did that last season and scored 13 goals in the league. Massive decline from him this season - down to Dalglish imo, he's got Bellamy and Henderson doing what Kuyt did well last season.
Sifu
Btw, did Sky really shorten their EPL table so it didn't feature us? Nope, they extended it to include Liverpool though ie. the top 7.
MKSC
Liverpool have the players to challenge for the title, they just can't figure out a way to get them to play together successfully. It's been pretty much the same story for them for the last 10 years frankly. Long may it continue.
