Tooj
Remember getting the most uninspiring collection of autographs the time I went down to Maiden Castle like. Proper gutted. Got absolutely loads every time I went down, including my picture with the Keegler, Pav, Terry Mac etc. Some great memories including things like Tino robbing me mate of his Parker pen, when it had showed so the players couldn't train outside so Keegan got them playing 5 a side in the gym and invited everybody in to watch. Also once went in the October school holidays when it was an international break and managed to get my picture taken with an injured Shearer who was pretty much the only person there. Sorry OCK. I was at university in Durham then and it was fantastic being able to watch the training sessions at close range. Great memories.

Away Day Gadgie
Benito Carbone on the bench for Ascoli, cracking little player ?
Foluwashola
Class that. Was the Anglo Italian cup a big joke? That Bari ground dies look canny like, albeit the fans are 2 miles from the pitch.

Robster
That Ascoli game was hilarious. Didn't David Kelly jump to avoid yet another nasty a challenge and end up studding the player in the balls ?
Away Day Gadgie
Benito Carbone on the bench for Ascoli, cracking little player ? Went to Sheff Wed didn't he? Yeah. He must've signed for Torino not long after that game cos i loved Serie A at the time and i remember him being brilliant for them.
John P
I also had that book, would spend hours reading it before bed when I was little. Also remember going to watch the training at that time, got pictures with Keegan and Beardsley (my hero) and got them blown up and put on my wall at home, must still be in the garage somewhere. Watching matches at the Odeon also sticks in my mind. We lived in Loughborough at the time, but whenever we visited my Nana we would always make a trip to the Odeon if we couldn't get a ticket for the match. I always remember it being completely rammed in there. Amazing times though, got so many vivid memories of that period.

Paully
The scrapping near the dugouts with the umpa lumpas is my main Anglo-Italian Cup memory Hammering Leciester at home too (4-0?) - I'm sure Sheedy scored a class free kick?!

That scrap was funny as fuck man. When you watch it, their manager goes complete batshit because Alan Thompson gives him a sneaky hoof to the shin. Was comedy gold. That scrap was funny as f*** man. When you watch it, their manager goes complete batshit because Alan Thompson gives him a sneaky hoof to the shin. Was comedy gold. I jumped onto the pitch in the melee, and got one of their players in a headlock. Probably would be a lifetime ban nowadays. Is there actually any footage of it, I've seen nothing since it was on the late Look North the night of the game, and my brother pointed it out to my parents?
