Because of the lazy lads behind him, he have been working to much back home. If he got so much to work with in front of goal as Torres, Anelka +++ he would score a lot of goals.... Grafters ACTUALLY work hard. So in fact we DO need grafters, players who will run all day, play hard but fair, who sweat bucketloads for the team. Like Habib Beye and (dare I say it) Steven Taylor. But we ALSO need skilful players - the difference is that we can't afford "flair players", the very skilled but lazy/stupid players (like Martins). I don't see it in that way. I think he have had a shit job, and from his position not to blame to much. It's not easy to be the striker when other players creativity is at the point of zero in attacking. No speed, slow up to the opponents box, passing backwards while try to figure out something.... very easy to build up the defending and pack the striker. But TV works quite good to get a good impression from the matches and situations. Haven't counted. But haven't missed many matches this season (either).
