SUPERTOON
He'll be in the England squad on Pearce's recommendation, Cappello will be having a look that's all. Shame for Taylor fans as he'll now think he's worth much more than he is, and we'll probably have to sell him. Everyone wins then
TRon
If Taylor gets in the squad its evident that Capello doesn't watch Newcastle games. Jesus christ. He was watching on Monday but he looked bored shitless. Still, he's getting paid for it, it's better than a kick up the arse.
colinmk
Would be great for Taylor to get in the England squad. He's only young, still learning so of course it would.
Skirge
Its funny how a lot of fans rate their own players when most other mangers/pundits don't, yet it seems to be the other way around with Taylor..

Shit, lets hope he doesn't get carried away by Nicky Butt's only half decent performance all season.

Shit, lets hope he doesn't get carried away by Nicky Butt's only half decent performance all season. Butt had a canny game on Monday, fair play to him. It would be great if he can produce it for a few more games and even better if he keeps his passes short and simple. But I digress...

midds
At best, Capello will tell Stuart Pearce to tell Steven Taylor that he needs to work on a certain aspect of his game if he wants to make the final 23 man cut. Yep. His defending.

James
By the way, on the subject of England, did anyone else think that against Switzerland, rather than playing 4-3-3 as suggested by the British analysts, we played the Christmas Tree formation that you see at some Italian clubs, ie: Rooney Cole Bentley Barry Gerrard Jenas Bridge Upson Ferdinand Brown James

Guest float one in
If Taylor gets in the squad its evident that Capello doesn't watch Newcastle games. Jesus christ. It would be great if he can produce it for a few more games and even better if he keeps his passes short and simple. But I digress... Nicky Butt would rather he wasn't having to hit long passes either. The fact is that the players he's playing with don't make it easy for him. The bloke is past his best, I acknowledge that, but he knows how he'd like to be doing his job-he did it long enough in the best team in he land-but playing alongside Barton et al doesn't give him that option unfortunately. Normally I think your comments are spot on Big Tron but to blame Nicky Butt for hitting long passes is missing the point.
