Some people just aren't good at controlling themselves with massive wealth, fame, commercialism etc. I guess it's more likely to happen to people who haven't grown up in a nation where that kinda shit is rife.

I dunno though, maybe he just likes pie.

Was listening to World Football phone in the other day and one of the callers asked about Adriano. Apparently he has an obscene drink problem.

Also apparently he was really close to his Dad, who was his entire motivation to play football, once his Dad died (quite tragically) he lost a lot of the drive to play at the top level and has let himself go.

Heard that segment sounds desperately tragic. I would of thought in such a religious country like Brazil it may have spurred him on, but everybody's different.

According to L'Equipe, Taye Taiwo of Marseille has signed a three year contract with AC Milan of Serie A. Obviously, I'm very disappointied to see him leave, but I'm much happier to see him a top club rather than Liverpool or Aston Villa. Also, this is one more team that probably won't pursue Enrique, so this is a positive.

But means Liverpool have Enrique to himself and can stay out of a bidding war. :(

Apparently former Arsenal chief scout and now Liverpool head-scout has recommended that Liverpool bid for Clichy, this would be brilliant how they are throwing money around could probably have change after buying Baines

Perhaps Enrique is not a done deal to them then!

Also, rumours we are interested in Phil Jones again, I don't know if he'd leave Blackburn though.

Some pseudo-itk vague story for you here, I've been informed Robert Huth has bought a house in Sussex. Move to a London club is the assumption.

Bit ironic that Neil Warnock's club is being investigated today over the dodgy signing of an Argentinian after the fuss he kicked up about how West Ham should have been relegated.

If you couldn't afford Jags in the summer then you certainly can't afford Baines.
