Conjo
Spurs' Cavani-Kjaer bid 'accepted' Monday 28 June, 2010 “Tottenham have bid €35m, an offer we cannot refuse,” for Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani, confirmed Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini. Spurs had already been heavily linked with the two World Cup stars for some time, but it seems the matter is heading towards a conclusion. “Tottenham have bid €35m, an offer we cannot refuse, seeing as the two players have both said they want to leave,” Zamparini told Sky Italia television. Danish international defender Kjaer is hot property and was also linked with Juventus, Inter, Barcelona and Manchester United. Uruguayan striker Cavani had been close to Inter, who seem to have toned down their interest, while Manchester City made an offer. “We will reinvest the money for these players,” assured Zamparini. “The midfield is my biggest concern, whereas in defence and attack we are fairly covered.” That Harry Redknapp, he sure knows how to pick up a real bargain. What a wheeler-dealer etc. etc. Im so envious that im literally shaking now. This should be us!! Edit: Didn't they already sign Sandro as well? Fuck fuck fuck. Segun Oluwaniyi
bears s*** in the woods and the pope is a catholic. Okay, a new one just for you: Azpilicueta to OM for 6m rising to 9,5m. Confirmed by the club I meant to ask you, is this one any good and could he come in right away and do a job for us? With Laurent Bonnart leaving they need a first team player. He's one of the most promising players in Spain and was in our preliminary WC list. For that price you got a great deal.

1878
Looks like another new forward for us. Magaye Gueye from Strasbourg. Courted by Olympique Lyonnais, which had made an offer of EUR 1.4 million in recent days Magaye Gueye will eventually join Everton. On Monday evening, the Toffees contacted the OL by proposing a sum substantially identical to the Racing Club de Strasbourg (between 1.3 and 1.4 million euros). The international striker of France attracted by the Premier League, was seduced by the prospect of a bigger than on the banks of the Rhône playing time. He joins his new club Thursday to sign new contract off prior to fly with his new teammates practice to Australia. -V.V. http://www.francefootball.fr/FF/breves2010/20100629_000846_m-gueye-file-a-everton.html

Disco
I might be wrong but I haven't been that impressed with Cavani anyway. He was hyped up pre-tournament but Forlan is just head and shoulders above everyone in that side. I think you're underestimating Suarez.....slightly. I Love Forlan. Think he's better than Suarez by some distance at this moment in time. In truth, Cavani hasn't impressed me much this tournament but he comes with a lot of hype and has done well at Palermo. Wouldn't disagree with any of that. I absolutely love Diego Forlan, brilliant player.

Only got Vermaelen excluding this potential fella now as CB haven't you since the others (Campbell, Gallas, Lightbulb) all out of contracty? Bit thin on the ground in an already problem position.
