JH
It wasn't just David Craig, he refused to answer questions from all press other than the NUFC TV World Online thing reporter.
Robster
Lou Macari trying to stir shit in the studio now. Whats the twat saying ? Going about the "Instability" at the club, and how we've only brought in Gutierriez ( the fact Guthrie played must have passed him by). Utter cunt. Who the hell IS he anyway; to be commenting on how our club is run ? Cant exactly say his managerial carreer has been a glittering success. Come back when you can prove know what your talking about Macari you twat
SUPERTOON
Wonder why Bassong didnt play or isnt he allowed due to still being contracted to another club?
Pilko
As for Guthrie's goal, who was the last Newcastle player to score in their debut friendly game? Alan Smith. Oh dear.

Guest newcastle4life
Just a friendly but still a good start for the players. Well done to Duff on his hat-trick and Guthrie on his goal. Can they perform when the season starts proper is the big question but still a good start.

Mike
Shola should make it four when he does everything right to work an opening for a shot after a clever dummy inside the area, Lee-Barrett is grounded and the striker has the whole goal to aim at but gets his feet in a tangle and miscues at the crucial moment - the miss prompts chants of "If Shola scores we're on the pitch" from the Toon Army behind the goal. Same old Shola ... God damn that's fucking funny.
Guest Antec
I'm glad KK blanked the media, serves them right for being gobshytes. Agreed. Unfortunately I suspect he'll be hammered for it tomorrow 'Toon are at war, Keegan at breaking point' etc...

Unfortunately I suspect he'll be hammered for it tomorrow 'Toon are at war, Keegan at breaking point' etc... That would be funny if it wasnt true. Its a shame that instead of thinking that maybe they should be a bit more co-operative, the media will just spit the dummy out, act like children, and write all sorts of crap

Dave
Decent match in the end, Guthrie was very promising. Easily our most impressive performer. Duff took all his goals very well, fair play. Obviously spurred on by the absolute roasting Wullie gave him after about 4mins.
Cronky
Duff has struggled for fitness over the last two seasons, and that can affect a player's confidence. If he's got that sorted out, then we'll have a very good player who can really worry defences.

mattypnufc
Just got back...hillarious game. Football was poor but as expected. Guthrie looked decent, Duff was the same as usual, just managed to bag some goals, Smith was sh1te as normal. Rest of the team were ok. The songs where brilliant from start to finish, the Hartlepool fans must think we are off our tits. The game got so lethargic at the end that everyone was singing songs about seagulls!!! simmsy10
Just listened to KK's interview on SSN again, the questions are quite clearly dubbed over the top! If you get a chance to listen to it, listen out for the change in background noise between Keegans answers and the next question being asked! Laughable really!
