Zero
the reason why Duff is given up by Chelsea is because he is not up to standards. he runs a lot with no end product, even worse than Dyer. 5m spoiled again.
littlejimbo
A performance worthy of relegation. There was no direction and no gameplan which is ultimately the job of the manager and coaching staff. Started well if any positives can be taken. sempuki
Booed off again - every home game this season bar Wigan? Getting majorly sick of this - it's no good being good in the cups (no doubt getting knocked out when it matters) then getting relegated which, as it stands looks like we may be heading. shido
Someone needs to explain to roeder what substitutions are and how to use them because its just getting ridiculous. TACTICS are vital....unfortunately our manager doesn't have any...
Skeletor
I never believed we'd get relegated before. I do now though. Glenn you have 3 subs you can use by the way.

Yorkie
If Glenn Roeder is manager all the way through the season, we will be relegated. Absolutely no gameplan whatsoever. No subs.

mouldy_uk
Utter Crap! Charlton were there for taking and with enough decent attacking players, i.e. Duff, Zoggy, Solano etc.. we should have won easily. Not the biggest fan of Luque but he really should have been given 30 minutes in this game at least. I think the game against Sheffield next week is crucial, anything else but 3 points and Roeder really has to go.
Tachikoma
what the **** happened? didn't roeder notice that we started to lose our play in the 60th minute? Why wait til 83rd minute for the sub? FKN HLL In all honesty, it wouldn't have made a diference even if he took the subsitution 30 minutes early.
Sparks
1st half was decent, the only thing we didn't do was finish our chances. Second half we looked clueless and Roeder was nowhere.

Guest Phil K
Wonder if the Roeder defenders are trying to think up some more excuses for these dismal & disgraceful performances ?*** He's put together a team that is either going on the sick if they feel like a few months off at top pay, or the monumentally crap, or making fairly decent players into players that couldn't hit a barn door at 3 paces. Shepherd should pack his bags too. How the hell can this fat b@stard take the reigns comfortable in the league, spend fortunes, then manage to have them on the brink of relegation with 52,000 crowds ? Then you look at his last two managerial appointments and realize WHY. SHEPHERD AND ROEDER OUT BEFORE SHEFF U BEAT US (Palermo certainly will) *** Wonder if they'll be talking of "knee jerk reactions" when we line up against Southend or somesuch ? Guest JamesD
not according to a certain Mr.mourinho(regarding duff and chelsea). words like 'relegation' and 'embarresment' dont fit. we completly dominated them and played great football for almost the entire game. frustrating fits best i think. probably 20 attempts on goal, and we were stopped by carson, the post, and some duff's right foot. put ameobi, sibs, or martins on the field and this is a route. also parker seemed to have a knock in the second half and that completly changed the game. him and butt switched rolls, and butt didnt offer nearly as much going forward. all in all incredibly disappointing, but was some of the best football the teams played all year. Guest SeattleToon
Thought we played well and dominated the first 60 minutes. With a bit more luck and a few good bounces, could've been up 2-0. Also, the penalty that Duff earned but that was not given didn't help either. My only quibble is that when Charlton switched formations by taking off Marcus Bent and bringing on Hughes, Roeder did not respond in kind by bringing off a central defender and bringing on Luque or Milner. There was no real reason to keep playing with four defenders once Charlton had only one striker on the pitch.
