Dave
Good luck to him, he seems like someone who's prepared to put the hard work in to make a success of himself when he could have easily took the easy option and stayed as reserve coach here, reading RTG the other day quite a few Mackems wish him well too even after him wearing that t-shirt. Baggio - I saw the lad you have as AV on Thursaday night near Bar 42, he was wearing that tracksuit, talking to himself he then picked up a glove that was on deck & put it in his pocket. LooneyToonArmy
Seemed like a canny game the other night .......red card, 2-3 down then 2 goals for Clarkie`s team in stoppage time to win it. KK esque

KK esque Apparently that's really how he tries and plays. Quick ball from keeper to the wings and it all starts from there. Simple but effective

We were in the front row of the Darwin End, he scored up at the other end, I hurdled the fence and almost got onto the pitch but was wrestled to the ground by 2 stewards. Got kicked out and went and sat on the minibus waiting for everyone else to come out. Match finished, 10 mins went past, then 20, then half and hour and not a soul back on the bus. Found out later the whole away end stopped back for best part of an hour singing in support of Keegan who had just sold Andy Cole

I was his boot boy Him and Andy Cole Top man and gave me £50 at Christmas (1995)!! That was like £350+ now He was great with us young ones Especially , Brassy (Paul Brayson) Bazza - Paul Barrett Who were both from the West End and used to drink in the black bull we used to go after training on a few occasions and well looked after A few were caught up in the Ritzy attack on a Wednesday night out , Bazza , Brassy , Chris Holland , Stu Elliott , Mark Thornton with the ammonia attack Chris , got the worst of it If that hadn’t of happened he would of been a first team regular He had Bazza / brassy at Walker as kids and looked out for all of us young lads during our apprenticeships One of the most underrated players I know , he could do everything but lacked that yard of pace However , he had the yard in his brain and linked up with Cole / Beardsley to perfection Love everything about him. Found out later the whole away end stopped back for best part of an hour singing in support of Keegan who had just sold Andy Cole I've got the full tape of that match/show. Dalglish and Keegan being interviewed inside with the singing outside and in the background of the Sky studio, the show ended with Richard Keys saying "we've got to go, otherwise these boys (motions to the crowd behind) aren't going home tonight" Really felt like an apology for ever doubting KK and a re-energising. 9 hours ago, Steve Charlton said: The late winner vs Blackburn in Ewood park was the most mental ive went celebrating a goal until the cup final Always remember letting out an orgasmic squeak when Clarky cocked to shoot for the winner* - Blackburn were probably my least favourite team at the time, just bothered (and intimidated) me they had all that money and played unattractive football. *edit: watching at home I should add. Was one of my favourite wins, if not the favourite, at the time, gets forgotten now. Still got the science book with the score doodled on to verify that.
