The College Dropout
Haven't watched too much La Liga this season but he was tremendous at the EURO's.
KaKa
Man City are embarrassing themselves when there really isn't any need for it. So many good attainable players out there. No need to go overboard chasing those that are already at the very top clubs. Looking like they are going to be even more despicable than Chelsea, which is quite hard to believe. Awful. JH
£128m and £230,000 a week wages? fucking laughable. Man City will ruin English football with moves like that.
Guest Heneage
Your biggest player says the club has a small time attitude. So you go out and bid for Casillas, no harm in that. I can't think of many on here that would argue if it was us.
Guest gggg
Why does everyone automatically call bollocks on Newcastle rumours but believe everything written about other clubs. £128m ffs

Guest
I know most people say Buffon, but Casillas is the best in the world imo.

Guest
What? You mean to say they're NOT offering £128m?! Can't believe the board aren't backing their manager.
James
Manchester City deserve a change in fortunes more than most teams to be honest. Why's that? Because their fans have been through hell and back over the past fifteen years, yet the support has always been great.
Adam
Why would you ever want to leave Real Madird to go to Man City. Unless of course you're a money grabbing wanker like Robiniho.

New challenge? When you've won just about everything major in club football, going to someone like Man City where you've got the chance to do something that club has never done before might be inviting. Don't really follow the "have great support thus deserve to have some luck" line. We'll agree to disagree.

Did you witness the way they went on when they came up for the Keegan-return-cup-game? Believe me, those twats deserve nothing but the usual ridicule that has usually landed on their doorstep. ross magoo
Never any danger of him leaving Real, certainly not to Man City. Boys like him and Raul could retire right now if they wanted to. I'm sure that money ceased to be their motivation quite some time ago. They'll be at Real until they retire and they'll probably take on ambassadorial positions at the club thereafter. It's about prestige for those guys.
Thespence
Did Man City actually bid? Why would he move Man City because of the £££'s. Some people waffling on about building a club **YAWN** if you can get proven in then you would be crazy to dabble with unknown. Iker has been a bit shitty lately. merlin
They pulled it off with Robinho, so there's no harm in them trying for other top players - in fact, that's what any club with ambition SHOULD do.. All those whingeing about this should remember what fans of other clubs used to say about NUFC when we were the only ones spending large amounts on transfers ; esp, the Man U fans' comments when Shearer joined us instead of them... Good Luck to City - they are having their day in the sun just as we did in the 90s...the difference is that their owners really DO have megabucks, so all the sour grapes in the world won't worry their supporters when they are making big signings....making it all work is another matter entirely....!
