Guest toonlass
Aside from the football, I thought Graeme Danby was cracking again. And did anyone else see that samba drum band outside the Gallowgate. Felt slightly sad for the lass with the guitar outside the Barker and Stonehouse store cos no-one was paying attention to her singing but there was a crowd around the drum band, lol. shes been there donkeys. Should give it a rest. Aye, there was a lad in front of me with his mates stopped, put 50p in her guitar case and his mate said, "Why the fuck did you give her that?" and he said "Well she might stop if I pay her". Poor lass didn't know what the heck to say so just blushed and kept on singing Snow Patrol songs. Busking music to slash your wrists to. The lads dancing to the samba band were funny like. Guest firetotheworks
She played Durham once, a drunk asked if she took requests and stupidly she said yes, to which he bellowed "Wey f*** off home then" ;D Funny but sly.
Mowen
Bassong MOTM by an absolute mile. Enrique good, if Jonas could cross he'd be absolutely fantastic, Lovenkrands looked lively.

Guest hughsie
Just reading some of this slightly one sided view of things but can anyone enlighten me as to how many shots Fulop actually made today. From what I can remember you had a lot of pressure in the second half but Fulop had nothing of note to save in the first half.He made 1 save at the feet of Ameobi and that was it. Apart from Carroll's header touching the bar on the way over I can't remember when else the goal itself was under threat. Big up the performance all you want lads and talk down ours but we had by far the better chances and you got a point in the end because of a ridiculous decision by a weak referee. See you in acouple of years if you haven't gone bust by then. FTM

You are as bad as us, but you haven't got the turmoil behind the scenes to blame. You know that you will still end up below us by the end of the season, so crawl back under your rock now. There's a good soapdodger!
Golfmag
No doubt he played his heart out for the whole game, I'm merely disagreeing with your rating. And aye, sell him. That's exactly what I'm saying. Christ on a bike. He was actually responsible for the best cross of the whole game.

dustynrg
Hot footed it straight to the Duke after the match. Any reports of trouble flaring up anywhere? There were riot police just outside the Irish Club, we watched from the bar upstairs and one lad was getting laid into by the police. There were bits of clothing all around the street - looked like there'd been a bit of a riot previously. The police were banging their riot sticks and some kids were goading them, not sure who was enjoying it more tbh. Then there was a shout from somewhere that these riot police had to go to the Central and fast. The Mackems were being escorted to the Central by then. If anything Sunderland edged it going into the break with us only creating one chance of note. We got a point in the end because you tried to hold a one goal lead away from home. We were a lot better after the break and you tried to play us on the counter, it was a ridiculous decision but if you try and defend such a narrow lead on the road in this league then your asking for trouble. A harsh decision? Yes, a fair result? Yes.
Ashley17
Was a decent game, they're filthy as fuck and I'm amazed they finished with all 11 on the park. We looked blunt as out up front but I should have expected as much. Lots of endeavour second half but a draw is probably the right result. Sat about 10 yards in front of Habib Beye and Ryan Taylor (in full NUFC tracksuit) so he's either signed or a bit keen. Thank fuck Chopra is shit. Guest toonlass
I saw no bother at all after the game. Me and the bairn had a struggle to get towards the east stand, but once the police saw I had the bairn they let me straight through.

I was amazed Whitehead didn't at least get a yellow for about 3 late fouls and Bardsley was lucky to still be on the pitch imo.

Teasy
More to the point, 9/10 for being a threat? Idgas how much of a threat someone is if they don't produce something at the end of it. If you constantly push the other team back and worry them you're a threat yes? Jonas was our biggest threat all game and our only real outlet. He took the pressure off us and put it on them, something nobody else could manage to do.

madras
before hand i'd have been quite happy with a point. a bit miffed in the end we didn't take all 3 even with half a team out. bassong was immense, enrique much better for having jonas with him, duff worked hard and (deep breath) taylor had as good a game at right back as beye has this season. don't think it was a penalty but then again has there been a dirtier team on tyneside this season ?
