Joe Kinnear has triple heart bypass surgery, home on Sunday

Recommended Posts

surely he must need a fair bit of rest after having a bypass, the club must be looking for a replacement now.

yep, club has to go into overdrive now on the recruitment front, this is the most important managerial decision the club have made for years and there is no room whatsoever to fuck this one up.

it's actually true this time, mess it up or delay too long and the championship beckons.

Feel sorry for the bloke, gets a big chance in the top flight against all the odds after saying his heart problems are behind him and then this crops up.

Hope he recovers quickly, whatever I think about him as a manager.

Surely we need (and should be able to get) a new manager until the end of the season? Chris Hughton's record isn't inspiring enough for me to trust him until the end of the season. Avram Grant? Alan Curbishley? Anyone is better than no one.

I think this will be it for Joe in football as a manager, the next appointment for this club should be long term.
