joeyt
Paris St Germain goalkeeper Mikael Landreau is set to become a free agent as he winds down his contract in the French capital, according to France Football. The highly-rated 29-year-old, who has plied his trade at the Parc des Princes since 2006, has indicated that he has no intention of signing a new contract with the Ligue 1 club and will follow recently departed manager Paul Le Guen out of the door at the end of the season. Capped eleven times by France since 2001, Landreau was heavily linked with Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal while at former club Nantes. Reports on the continent now suggest that several clubs in the Bundesliga, including Bayern Munich, as well as English sides Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Everton could all offer the stopper an opportunity to test himself in a new environment

KaKa
Yeah just seen it. Think the only way Inter would want Martins back would be as in impact sub or 3rd/4th choice striker, and I can't see him agreeing to going back to that. Was linked with Chelsea when Mourinho was there wasn't he? Mourinho likes his African players and managed to really get a lot more out of Drogba than many thought possible, as he was written off as an expensive flop after about his first month by the likes of Andy Gray. The standard claims of not having a decent touch and not having a football brain either. The kind of stuff that has always been said about Martins. If the move happened it would be fascinating to see how he would develop under Jose.
MW
Manchester City have offered Real Madrid £35m for Spanish striker Raul. The 31-year-old, who is under contract until 2011, has been recommended to City by Brazilian star Robinho. Newcastle and Liverpool are also interested. Kaizero
It seems that even with relegation nearby, we're still the ones who get added to transfer rumours to make up a good "also interested" tally.

joeyt
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso appears to have carried out another of his trademark u-turns by claiming that he is now happy to stay in portugal. The dynamic enforcer has been repeatedly linked with several clubs in the last two years with Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United all thought to be monitoring his progress. The 22-year-old had stated in March that he ‘would like to leave’ the Jose Alvalade after receiving death threats in the post and having had bullying abuse daubed on the walls of Sporting’s training ground by fans angry with his foreign club flirtations. However, despite the mid-season intimidation it now appears the international has changed is mind stating: "I only think of Sporting. Even in one or two years from now that is not going to change," Veloso told the press in his homeland. "This was not a good season because we wanted to be champions. We worked for it but we could not meet the goals set at the beginning of the campaign," he concluded. http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/19300/Bullied_Veloso_changes_tact.aspx

joeyt
Eider Gudjohnsen is not happy at sitting on the bench at the Nou Camp and could return to the Premier League after the Champions League Final. The former Chelsea man is apparently being touted as a future Spurs, Everton and Newcastle player.

I don't really see a place for Gudjohnsen here with Cahill and Fellaini operating in the same area of the pitch. Unless we played him as an out and out striker, but then what do you do with Yakubu? Great player though.

Great player though. If Everton are to push the top 4 sides like Villa did this season you clearly need a bigger squad. Gudjohnsen would be a perfect signing for Everton IMO. Very versatile and can do a decent job in a 5-man midfield, play of the striker or in a pairing with someone like Yakubu.
