mouldy_uk
BBC radio Newcastle said this morning that the announcement will be made later in the week, it's been delayed. Not surprised. OH FFS!

Cajun
BBC radio Newcastle said this morning that the announcement will be made later in the week, it's been delayed. Well if they are right and what ever it is has been delayed then thats got to be positive (ie at least it won't be an announcement that the deadline has been extended or Ashley was going to take it off the market but has been given a reason not to). Fucking hell this is going on forever! Can't be positive as it just means Ashley can drag it out until the end of the transfer window. I seriously believe he's going to keep us and thinks this squad with a few reserves is good enough to go up without him spending another penny on players. Sorry positive on the basis we might finally get rid of him, obviously the whole thing has, and continue to be an absolute shambles!

Do they realise the transfer deadline is next Tuesday? Idiots. Said it before, but the only slight hope I can think of this... Keane signed a three year deal immediately after Sunderland's victory over West Bromwich Albion on 28 August.... .....He wasted no time in bringing in new additions to the squad, with a total of six players signing on the final day of the August transfer window. Just shows that even at that late stage, it was still possible to bring players in IF the manager gets the backing.

ujpest doza
I'm sick of hearing about the £40m overdraft. Surely the bank would be asking for some of the £22m brought in to be used to reduce this. Or is MA trousering every penny that comes in? You've made the ridiculous assumption that our player sales have been cash deals rather than on the never never like our previous player sales.
