I still cant get my head around what they have done

Ashleys decision to back Wises judgement, more than Kevin keegans, cost him £100 million. For free at the time i would have told him he was wrong.

Without wanting to drag it all up again, for me Keegan's decision has been totally vindicated by the way Ashley has gone on since. Who would want to work for this utter fucking cunt?

Then you misinterpreted my point. You can't say you don't want to drag something up then bring it up. It's happened and we'll never have one unified opinion on him, so just drop it.

Of course you can. Doing something against one's wishes might be painful, but it's certainly possible.

Bollocks. I wouldn't want to do the whole argument again but for me the actions since have proved a point. Ashley is total scum and any sensible person would have walked away rather than been held responsible for potential relegation.

The club statement today is just so bloody unprofessional and without doubt is intended to once again heap more misery on the club. Nothing this regime does should surprise us anyone, given that is has only been too happy to lie to the fans before and could quite possibly be at it again over last weekend. Remember Harris said there was interest last autumn, only for it to be complete bollocks.

I've wondered before if Ashley's intent was to leave a scorched earth policy at the club, as a result of the fans turning on him after the Keegan debacle. As each day passes, that appears to become more true.

Spot on Wullie but despite all thats happened since, some people on here still blame Keegan and then moan every time his name is mentioned

It's crossed my mind but he'd have to be a richer man than that to carry out such spite.  He surely thinks in cold, hard cash.

Far fetched but what if he is being paid for his losses.  :frantic:

It is to be expected from this lot.

Not going through the books when they were purchasing, the constant slagging off of the previous owners, Dennis Wise DoF, a casino manager running the club day to day, staff working from London, zero communication when Keegan left, the 'Keegan role was not' eventual statement, transfer dealings being done with no money paid up front, JFK is my hero, him downing that pint.. that's just the stuff off the top of my head :/

Yep, I think most of us knew at the time that Keegans actions were most probably due to this being the case.
