Dave
'Now'? Well not just "now" but you know what I mean. It's absolutely criminal that we're at this stage and not one of us knows what's going on. Then again it's probably debateable whether Ashley himself knows. Cajun
BBC radio Newcastle said this morning that the announcement will be made later in the week, it's been delayed. Well if they are right and what ever it is has been delayed then thats got to be positive (ie at least it won't be an announcement that the deadline has been extended or Ashley was going to take it off the market but has been given a reason not to). Fucking hell this is going on forever!

Or it's just the same old shite that the press have been saying for weeks and weeks and weeks and simply none of them have a club and the club has no intentions of letting his know anything until it happens. Fucking hell this is going on forever! Can't be positive as it just means Ashley can drag it out until the end of the transfer window. I seriously believe he's going to keep us and thinks this squad with a few reserves is good enough to go up without him spending another penny on players. Do they realise the transfer deadline is next Tuesday? Idiots. Said it before, but the only slight hope I can think of this... Keane signed a three year deal immediately after Sunderland's victory over West Bromwich Albion on 28 August.... .....He wasted no time in bringing in new additions to the squad, with a total of six players signing on the final day of the August transfer window. Just shows that even at that late stage, it was still possible to bring players in IF the manager gets the backing.
