But if you're early 30's and warming the bench - you shouldn't get picked. Can't argue with th Everton picks despite the poor performances. Willo's THAT close to being called back-up. If you are just "making up the numbers", why not call up someone who will not be 34 at the next Euros? Personally, it would not surprise me if Lambert is actually called up to Euro 2016 for England and plays for them there, but that logic makes no sense.
