Si
so baffled by thies, he keeps saying his hands are tied n all that jazz... how so? if ur under contract for another and you want to stay why leave? Because as a footballer if he has a horror injury like a leg break a month or two before his contract ends that could be it for him. At the end of the day this is a job for him and he needs to protect his long term future. Can't blame the lad for that.
nufcjb
I guess this was the 'foot injury' that Pardew said will kepp him out of the match tomorrow..ffs

I'd leave too if I were him. If something happens in the next year, injury etc, he could be saying goodbye to his last chance at a decent contract and some career stability. The grass is significantly greener at QPR as far as I can see, and I just could not be fucked to play the part of club anarchist for a whole year. Why fight the boss at NUFC when he could enjoy his days at QPR?
Tsunami
In all this madness Alan Smith endures. Perhaps he'll be the new striker; scored a cracker for Leeds at SJP, hope Mashley hasn't seen it.

Jayson
so baffled by thies, he keeps saying his hands are tied n all that jazz... how so? if ur under contract for another and you want to stay why leave? While i dont buy the hands are tied stuff 100%, they are offering a good long term contract and were not, he has to weigh that up, can hardly blame him really. Its as simple as that. Theyre offering him the best contract and are likely the only club willing to offer him a long term contract at his age. They have to do this to get a player of his ability, just as West Ham had to. Ofcourse hes going to take it, even if he goes down he'll believe other clubs will be in for him still. Its an obvious choice all footballers would make. Turnbull2000
Yet we'll still likely get around 45,000 each weekend and the fat c*cksucker Ashley will smile.

Shak
Joey Barton is moving because QPR is offering him a contract and NUFC isn't. Simple as. But if people want to bury their heads in the sand and blame it on the money AGAIN then go ahead. was it not also said he would only go to a "top club"? Last I checked QPR were not a top club He said if a Champions League club came after him he'd have to consider it no matter what his contract situation was. He also said he would love to stay at Newcastle if possible, but that "if that's not the case, then that's not the case." You think he wants to go to QPR like? Of course he fucking doesn't. Leazes1986
Don't get why people are shocked by this though. Apart fron the choice of clubs that is. They'll be able to give him a very good contract as well. He's been as good as gone for weeks now if there were any takers for him.

Not so much as a leap of faith, more a leap into a paranoid turd this one mate It's not really. I mean, we're letting him go for free because the guys upstairs want rid. If someone offered to take him, I'd think they'd be pushing at least a little to get him out the door.

Not quite taking the full blame is he, maybe from some but most of us can see both sides, Joey nor Fat Mike are beelzebub, just a pair of precious plonkers. I tell you what, we've been incredibly unlucky stumbling across all of these back stabbing greedy b****** players! Poor Mike! Really? From my perspective this site if full of people that are prepared to blame their own farts on Ashley. I try to be as objective as I can, and I don't think anyone comes out of this well. I don't blame them for not offering him a new contract when most of his time here has been a waste, but letting him go for free now rather than next year seems illogical.
