Colocho
Brilliant again today. Our key player along with Tiote.
Tooj
Brilliant again today. Our key player along with Tiote. I wouldn't say he was brilliant, I thought he gave the ball away quite a bit today, especially in the first half. Always puts in a shift mind. Nobody
Couple of dodgy moments in the first half, but grew into the game and was a lot better in the second half. Another assist for him, and helped Simpson a lot defensively. In fact, him and Simpson are starting to get a bit of understanding when Simpson is overlapping on the wing. Guest BooBoo
Noted he came out of the tunnel today with his arm round Nasri who he had a run in with last time at the Emirates. A furthe sign he's trying to make amends for past behaviour.

Fenham Mag
Just waiting for him to be on the Monument spreading the good word with a Palestinian flag.
Kaizero
Barton is too smart to turn religious even if he's a changed man. At least I hope so.

Yeah great dummy by Barton in the first half to let Simpson bomb forward.

David Icke - Son of God
His post match interview was fantastic. Extremely eloquent, very humble and his explanation of our game plan showed that Hughton is more than just a yes man who is getting a bit lucky. He really deserves to get picked in the next England squad.
NG32
Love that WWII hair cut, i might go for a joey barton
summerof69
His interviews are tremendous, there isn't a footballer around who gives a better interview than Joey Barton, he always sounds realy inteligent and i get the feeling that if it wasn't for his past behaviour he would be one of the more liked footballers because of it. Incognito
If Capello has been picking SWP and Bareth Garry in the shocking form they're in + Milner come to think of it,there could easily be a place for Barton.

That's the thing though, Capello doesn't pick players based on form.
beardsleymagic
It's funny that, nearly every new England manager says when he takes over that "i'll pick players based on form not reputation". Then goes out and does exactly the opposite.
AyeDubbleYoo
Capello does a weird combination of both, that's the strange thing. Same with players' ages... he tells Beckham he's too old then picks Kevin Davies. He's a hard man to understand... and not just because he can't speak English.
