sempuki
Back for the start of next season. Does anyone think he has a chance? Always looked slow to me.
Dokko
Average player who has suffered some big injuries, surprised if he makes it at his level.
Lotus
Thought last season was going to be an important one for him (obs injury curtailed that). Can't say i've seen much to whet the appetite.
AyeDubbleYoo
I think he's talented but he's not very mobile and he's pretty injury-prone. I could see him making a good career in a less physical or slower league.

Yeah i thought last season was his big chance, ruined by injury but had a feeling if it never woked out, the club would flog him this summer.

Dr Venkman
He does look a bit on the slow side to me for this league.
Tooj
I really think that he'll struggle to make it here due to Pardew being in charge. If we had a more progressive manager I think he'd flourish due to his vision and techincal ability, but sadly his lack of pace will see him exposed in how we play. Mick
I think he can still come good if he can have an injury free season and is given some games.
Guest JS
I think he can still come good if he can have an injury free season and is given some games. Tend to agree Mick. If I remember right Pardew really likes him, spoke very well about him when he first arrived and such, and has given him pre season games before. It's gonna take a hell of a lot of work and time to come back from that injury 100% but you never know
Newcastle Fan
Really like this lad, real shame what happened to him last season, but he's got my full support and i hope he makes it here.
Wilson
Always been intrigued to see him as he was pretty hyped up, but never seen anything to suggest why. Obviously injury prone too, not confident he'll make it here. On a side note, he's a reet puff ..... remember seeing him wave to the sideline and head towards the bench when he got hit in the face with the ball, can't remember who against but that's my main memory of him

Beren
Like Vuckic but seems limited physically and has a terrible injury record so far. I want to be optimistic about him, but my honest reaction to the thread title was to think of that Dog-by-the-garden-door Meme "let me in so I can go back outside again". He starts pre-season for the umpteenth time with it all to prove. I want to believe. (...but we have Pardew so it doesn't matter anyway)
TaylorJ_01
He's technically excellent. These injuries have to have taken their toll, though.
Guest bimpy474
Injuries could be down to him growing into the big lad he is. I would have thought that should be over now. This season will tell us a lot about him. Physically and talent wise.
aussiemag
Hes got a cracking shot on that left peg of his. Think hes best developing into a forward now, capable of holding the ball up, turning and shooting.

And he needs to find a position, rather than be master of a few. I would play him in central midfield as i see him as a player who could get goals from there. Guest Nixon
Just a theory. I wonder if he could be moulded into the same kind of player Michu is. A deeper lying striker who links play and plays at the head of a formation.
Benwell Lad
Always looked impressive in the little bits he's played, particularly the 2-4 against WBA just before Christmas, season before last when he crashed one against the bar from about 30 yards. That position seems to be becoming more common as well.
