DJ_NUFC
That's the thing, Northern Gimp, he's not an actual manager. Unless he transforms into one this season and into a successful one to boot, we're fucked until we actually appoint an actual manager and implement any sort of fucking plan for this club. Ashley needs to die.
Big Geordie
To those blaming Butt - there were 4 other midfielders playing tonight who didn't do their job. Butt isn't the player he was, but it dosen't mean he deserves to be make into a scapegoat. Remember, he was one of the few players who actually gave a **** throughout last season. Mattoon
Living in Blackpool this is gonna be a hard pill to swallow, I'll never hear the end of it! Blackpool always do well against the top sides though, they won home and away against Birmingham last season and brought two draws against Wolves too I think. They still finished just 10 points above relegation. This is not the end of the world, just a reality check.

Guest Stephen927
Girls Aloud on 4Music, the match has quickly been forgotten about.
Dave
Just showing the goals on SSN. Ours was lush. Their first wasn't great from Harper, decent save but pushed it back into a dangerous area. The second was scrappy and it should have been cleared. Okay, it appears everyone has quickly forgotten how inept this guy is. We'll give it another couple of weeks. After we've all had a chanceto watch his useless performances then we'll see where your affection for hm is at then. I have no doubt whatsoever what is going to happen now he is back and straight into the team though. I watched enough of this guy last season to know that as long as he is in the team the losses will pile up. We shall see.
ElDiablo
Two shit goals let in, the rebound looked like it went straight down the middle. The second should have been cleared twice. Nice goal though, good work from Guthrie (yeah, we'd really see Butt/Geremi doing that) and nice climb and header.

Jayson
Im gonna keep hammering away at this point But if Hughton puts two upfront tonight, we dont lose whether Butts playing or not. Butt isnt the reason we lost tonight atall.

Dave
Let's hope this is our latest Leyton Orient and we bounce back properly over the next few games.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Was bound to happen. Hopefully it serves as the wakeup call to all of the players who may have been coasting up to this point and to the administration to finalize some loans. For me, he is back up and he probably accepts that. Doesn't mean he should be made a scapegoat for tonight's 'performance' when 4 other midfielders hardly covered themselves in glory either. David Icke - Son of God
Im gonna keep hammering away at this point But if Hughton puts two upfront tonight, we dont lose whether Butts playing or not. Butt isnt the reason we lost tonight atall. Maybe not, but our chances of winning are significantly reduced because Butt isn't the creative force either Guthrie or Barton are and he's more prone to rash challenges than either of those two (yes, even Joey). Guest Heneage
Tbh our whole midfield has been poor this season. Maybe bar Reading and a glimpse of quality from Guthrie against Leicester. It's a joke really, and if we go up we need major investment in that midfield as it would get torn apart in the Premier League. Nolan's looked horrendously unfit, Barton looks like he couldn't be fucked, Smith's done his job, and Guthrie's not had much of a chance.

Butt isnt the reason we lost tonight atall. This might actually be the ultimate nightmare scenario as it will likely mean a midfield duo of Butt and Smith. Do you actually want us to go down another league? Do you understand that any midfield duo that includes Butt is doomed to eternal failure. Yes, even Butt and Gerrard. You would seriously sign off on a midfield duo that includes Butt? You scare me.

Karjala
Knew it was gonna come eventually, and yes, f***ing embarrassing. Look at that team today, f***ing well paid supposedly good players, getting beat of BLACKPOOL!!!!!!!! There's plenty of teams in the league worse than Blackpool, if you knew anything about this league. They're a decent side. We need to accept we won't win EVERY match. You have to deal with a bad result now and again. Yep i know a bit about it, and know we wont win every match, hence i said it was coming. Still, to lose to Blackpool is fuckin embarrassing for a club of Newcastles stature, a sign of the times.
