Scunthorpe Utd 2 - 1 Newcastle Utd - 20/10/09 - Post match reaction from page 20

It's a bit ridiculous to write off Zurab and Harewood especially. The Georgian has been here a month and Harewood even less.

Id normally say that. But at this level, they shouldnt need that much time. They're not delivering much atall.

They may have actually combined tonight to singlehandedly turn a win into a loss tonight.

what a shit league.

It is a shit league. We are in the right place.

I quite like how tight the league is, there doesn't any longer appear to be a 'runaway pack', which is rather nice-ish.

You do realise we're joint top of the league?

Moaning idiots.

A couple more performances like this and we wont even be in the playoffs by the end of the month.

This is by far the worst team most of us have ever seen Newcastle have and we are joint top, it is shit

we're 6 points behind you and with the squad we had on 1st september i thought we were dead certs for relegation

No team has enough quality to run away with it, including us.

You reckon we will be in say a month as well?

We've shown we're a cut above most teams in the league.

It's the Blackpool and Scunthorpe's away on a Tuesday night where we're struggling but this is a poor league and we'll win promotion.

Once Chris is allowed to being a few in, in January we'll be alot harder to beat but assuming we do go up, we will have to spend good money, otherwise we'll struggle like Birmingham and Wolves.

Aye just been having a luck at the table and weekend fixtures. Lots of potential for the teams below us to pick up points.

Hughton got the lineup badly wrong again but just look at that central defence man, it's a complete joke

We have had almost a week knowing Taylor and Colo would miss these two games, why was there not further loans brought in? No they spent the time discussing him becoming manager instead :knuppel2:

Yeah, new players for two games is the way forward

Incapable of working out we have a small squad to begin with there, nice one ;D

Yes, we need players but some rubbish outcasts that we might sign on loan won't help us.

4games since we won, against average sides. thats s***. we should be waaaay ahead now.

Scunthorpe aren't even average, they were 7th bottom before tonight.

Two games ago they lost to Plymouth. Who are 2nd from bottom. We've fallen, a lot.
