I doubt he will cost much in a fee or wages and although he has shown little to nothing going forward he is our best right back defensively. Tbh do you expect Ashley to sanction another right back cos i dont history tells me weak as piss squad next season with players on the cheap who are versatile and more loan signings because in the summer imho we will be up for sale again. And getting Joey Barton back will be 'like getting a new signing' so that's the transfer business done for this window. Job well done in my eyes......
