80
Played his part. Not a day for criticism, but I can definitely say he played his part in today. And only his second proper game back after a major injury, too.
Cajun
I told all you cunts he was getting better while he was out.
Pilko
Must have sore arms - the number of throws he had to take due to shit mackem crossfield balls to Bent that went out must have them arm muscles aching. He did well today. Better than the West Ham performance.
tmonkey
First good quality cross Simpson has produced since being in a B&W shirt? Carroll really should have buried that, absolute peach of a delivery.
TRon
Offers far more in attack than Perch. I still think his crossing is weak, but it's not that important with Barton on the right to wing them in.
hakka
Simpson has looked miles ahead of Perch. Funny, a lot of us on here was worried about how he would handle the Prem, been decent so far.
Tooj
No1 RB. Steven Taylor's a better right-back.
Pilko
First good quality cross Simpson has produced since being in a B&W shirt? In the Cardiff game last season (funnily enough, 5-1), he crossed for Carroll's second to make it 3-0.
Shak
Few dodgy moments early on, miles better than Perch though tbh.
thewellander
He looked miles better than our other two options. Just delighted to have him back in the starting lineup.
AyeDubbleYoo
He looked miles better than our other two options. Just delighted to have him back in the starting lineup. Agreed, never thought I'd say that though! Still think he shouldn't be written off long term... he can improve IMO.
TheGuv
He did a hell of a lot of running today. I was very suprised considering it was only his 2nd game back from inury
Colocho
Excellent performance today. Really chuffed like, hopefully Perch won't have to play again.
Cajun
Looks like Perch was bought as an interim measure.
Incognito
He was excellent today.
Colocho
Looks like Perch was bought as an interim measure. Of course he was. Hughton knew that after Simpson and Taylor came back from injury, Perch would never get a look in.

Cajun
Looks like Perch was bought as an interim measure. looks like chris doesnt trust raylor at all Despite his occasional good delivery (which imo has been a little overhyped) I don't really blame him. I would play him on the wing if anything, defensively he is the worst of the bunch, imo.
Colocho
Offers far more in attack than Perch. ... and better defensively.
Guest sicko2ndbest
Great delivery Not the quickest but looked really up for it today
Anderson
He's never looked amazing but at the same time I've never thought he looked shit. Definitely good enough for our team.
wormy
Didn't understand the opinion of him from last season, never thought he was that bad. And he's certainly a step up on Perch, that's all I prayed for when he returned. He's got enough time to build on this and become a good, useful player for us. Was really impressed with him today. AlanSkÃrare
Super cross for Carroll, also had another good delivery from a deeper position that Carroll failed to control properly. Really encouraging to see that we possess a better alternative to Perch. Remember the game at Swansea when Dave Cotterill torn him a new one, looked a different player today. Too early to judge though, but Hughton seems to have improved a lot of our players over the past year.
Dr.Spaceman
Ten times the player Perch is, he had a very solid game today and capped it off with that cross.
