indi Posted December 29, 2009 Share Posted December 29, 2009 Think it's pretty much impossible to guess whether the next shirt will be good or not, all the manufacturers have done some good kits and they've also been responsible for producing some monstrosities too. People seem to be looking at our association with adidas through somewhat rose-tinted gegs a little, it's been a while since we've had a good home shirt and although it was nice when we were basically their biggest club in England, we're now one of many and we've become a lot less important to them, what with all that's happened, so it might be good to be with a manufacturer that'll see us as a big deal again. If we end up with a nice home shirt, I'll be more than happy. Surprised that Northern Rock are interested in sponsoring anyone and although having a decent looking sponsor can make or break a shirt, I'd much prefer a dirty great cheque at this point in time, so I'm not too fussed about who we end up with so long as they're prepared to pump a shed-load of cash into the club. Same goes with the stadium name, we need cash more than anything at the moment and anything that brings that in is worth considering in my view.
