Alberto2005
"I have a problem. I can't help it, 4-0 up in the 78th minute offering 1.01 (1% profit for 12 minutes work, in non-betting talk). Fucking bent africans cost me my place at uni." http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h9/eddie4life_2006/problem-1.jpg http://forum.fm-view.com/topic/10912-i-admit-it/

geordie_b
i think its a fake as i think Betfair uses commas when an amount goes above £1k (might be wrong though)
Flip
he should have betted more i believe, then the possible profit might have been more than £44 quid.
MKSC
Having worked in the betting industry for 5 years I'm afraid it's perfectly believable that someone would do this. There are some right mentalists out there who are willing to lose everything they own for the sake of a miniscule return. And it doesn't matter how much you bet if you can't afford it, £10 or 10k. It's all relative. I hope for this guy's sake it is a fake as I know of two people, not personally but customers from other shops, who topped themselves because their betting got out of control. I don't mind a flutter but some people can't handle it. Nice to see everyone being so supportive of the guy though.
MKSC
That page has got 800 guests viewing it. That's the power of t'internet.
BlueStar
As I said in the other thread, he lists in his profile he supports "Hereford and the demise of Newcastle" so it's karma. He thought he'd win an easy £440 for a PS3, but his sums were wrong and he would only have won £44 anyway.
