Incognito
Tbf I think Pards would rather play Perch there by the sounds of it. Apparently he wants Curtis Good to be amongst the first team squad next season, pushing for a place. I'd rather see him out on loan. Last thing we need is another Fergie/Sammy. There were some quotes in an article with Pards talking about the success of his loan, how it fantastic he's playing at wembley. That he should make the most of it, because he wants him to come in to the squad and challenge for a spot. These are quotes. It doesn't sound like he's anywhere near ready to play premier league footy. Especially with Saylor, Colo and Mbiwa all being top class. Talk about putting words in my mouth . Mole_Toonfan
Other guy After he took some digs at Simpson when we signed Debuchy ( on top of signing him on Simpson's birthday no less ! ) i said i was looking forward to the digs at Williamson but i didn't think he would go that far. Dyeyzzon
Aye, went to far imo. Williamson does appeal to me as the type of player who responds well to mistakes/criticism, but I think that is too disrespectful.
TaylorJ_01
fuck me, rubbish comments by Pardew, absolutely rubbish.
Sifu
Did Pardew really have to say "the other guy" ? Think we can all agree on what he's said about Williamson but to describe him as the "other guy" is disrespectful. Oh Alan...
Ste
Let's face it. And I'm not being funny. I mean no disrespect, but Pardew's a cunt. He's a cunt now, and he's always been a cunt. And the only thing that's going to change is that he's going to be an even bigger cunt. Maybe have some more cunt kids.
ExiledGeordie
Ive read the quotes about 4 times and I really dont see what people are getting the knickers in a twist about. Three of his four centre halves are playing very well and because of it Williamson isnt getting a look in. Whats the problem? Couldn't agree more really
BillClinton
He is what he is, a mediocre centerback who finally doesn't need to be forced into the lineup. Its the "The other guy" part that's pretty disrespectful for me, you can state facts without being an asshole about it.

nufcjb
I Colo is out for a few games, Mike is 3rd choice CB then? Back on the bench perhaps?
Skeletor
Mike Williamson’s set to come in from the cold for #nufc – but not at a sub-zero Luzhniki Stadium. #sgaz http://bit.ly/Ycd5C7 However, United manager Alan Pardew is adamant that Williamson is still in his thoughts – and he is considering handing the 6ft 4ins player a role when dead-ball specialists Stoke City visit St James’s Park on Sunday. http://i.imgur.com/OXomD.jpg

Zach
Williamson was s*** against Stoke in the away game anyway.
Ishmael
I do not batter an eyelid to what Pardew says in the press. The intentions are never clear.
Dr Venkman
Changed his tune from last week. Hypocrite. This for me is a fundamental criticism of Pardew that I have. Yet again he is looking to set us up to "worry" about the other team Stoke are on a horrendous run of form, are a fucking awful team, we are playing at home, we have an international CB and he's thinking of putting Willo in. Its ridiculous, and certainly counters all those "he wouldn't play Willo if he didn't have to arguements I don't think Pardew's a particularly good manager and even I would be amazed if he decided to start Wiliamson over Mapou in any game. Incognito
Let Stoke worry the fuck about us. Don't be selecting players to our detriment purely to cater for Stoke ffs, hope it is bollocks .
Chizzletooth
Surely he's been asked about Williamson and rather than say "yeah that's Willo finished here" he's found something encouraging to say for the players benefit. I mean it has to be, right?
