madras
Routledge was immense tonight, I have to say. Skillfull, fast, and a hell of a cross. The showboating 'right foot behind left foot' cross he did was brilliant! the falling over at the leazes then getting it back, showing up then falling over again was one of the highlights of the season

Made up for falling on his arse with the trickery, but then proceeded to fall on his arse again

Stifler
how did cardiff get their goal? At the end of the game when one of their players fell to the floor and they played on with a hint of offside.

Guest Baxter
2 proper wingers works well. Good football to look forward to. Williamson looks class. Lovenkrands becoming a minor cult. Nolan a lot more visible tonight, good cptns performance. Both full backs played well. Expect a good attendance V Coventry. Credit to Hughton for tonight. Neil
Congratulations on an excellent result. With any luck, the other two will drop points but unfortunately I can't see it. But still, a stellar result (and performance I assume).

Pav
Just got back from the match loved the game but i sat in the leazes and found it incredibly repetitive tonight especially the dont care about ashley one If you dislike people chanting then sit somewhere else, or better yet don't attend matches - you won't be missed Never understood how anyone can complain, it's not as if the LC is the only place you can get tickets, infact it's quite the opposite since it sells out for most games whilst other areas are left empty... zolton
Cardiff... In-form... What a game/result, i didn't expect it like many, but what a f***ing performance, easily our best yet - with width. You need to keep a little context, good result, but if you listen to Dave Jones comments you will see they were down to the bare bones of their squad, Mcphail is just recovering from cancer treatment. Cardiff are always a funny side because they have a small squad and rely on accademy players at times, still good win, your big squad will pay dividends during this hectic period. We are Newcastle fans, we do context better than anyone else in the game. I was nervous at 3-0 with 30 mins left. We have been well schooled in avoiding complacency.
