TRon
I like the fact he's banned everyone from speaking about it. That means everything in the media is "speculation", even if most of it is probably correct. In my eyes this is a chance for Chris to show his management skills, so far he's got this spot on. I don't suppose that decision was made by Hughton at all, but it's the right one. What makes you think Hughton didn't make that decision? You can't be suggesting that Lambias has any brains to think this up, considering all the evidence. If there's one thing Llambias & Ashley seem good at it's saying nowt. Hughton will have been told how this is going to be dealt with, no doubt about it. Of course there's a doubt about it. It all happened like this because your speculation is gospel truth? Give over man, you might not rate Hughton but at least wait until he gets something wrong before sticking the boot in. Who's sticking the boot in? Do you have any credible evidence that Hughton wasn't involved in making the decision?

Do you have any credible evidence that Hughton wasn't involved in making the decision? Only my knowledge of disciplinary hearings & the way they are managed within companies, which isn't evidence in itself obviously. If a member of staff has assaulted another and there is a potential claim/sacking/criminal charge in the offing, the procedure won't be being managed by someone who has specialist knowledge in coaching football rather than employment law. The whole thing will be being co-ordinated by someone who specialises in that field. The Keegan case will have taught them the cost of getting it right/wrong. Hughton may well have agreed with the decision, but it won't have been his to make. That's not sticking the boot into anyone. EDIT: Fwiw, I also said on here yesterday that if Carroll was available for selection then in my opinion Hughton should play him, so credit where it's due for that. Mick
I just hope that after playing Carroll that something comes out which proves more than the rumours have done so far.

Ok so basically if the incident is serious enough the matter is decided at a higher level? I hadn't realised that it was applied wrt football but if that's the case then fair enough. It would just seem strange the idea of the Man U chairman telling someone like Ferguson that one of his players was not to be considered in a similar situation. What are you wanting to hear? If something has happened, it's a private matter until the time actual facts state otherwise. I would be happy to hear nothing more about these rumours to be honest. sh74
Could it boil down to Carroll being the new local hero with the supporters and Taylor doesn't like it and hes been winding Carroll up any way he can.
Thespence
Down South: Terry sleeps with Bridge x-girlfriend. What happens next Bridge does not shake his hand. Up North: Taylor sends a few texts to his former flame & Carroll girlfriend. What happens next : A trip to the RVI for both & a broken jaw for Taylor

Guest Stephen927
I wonder if the lass in question is the same one that Carroll had split up with, and he then went on Facebook and put naked pictures up on her profile for all to see?
