Peterborough United v Newcastle United 3/4/10 3pm

Recommended Posts

Look, I'm 32, fat and unfit but I can and did play 2 games in 2 days last week.

These are professional athletes, there's no reason why they can't manage the same.

(Nolan excepted of course, because he's probably even less fit than me.)

It's a little different at this level, can't really compare.

tiredness is just an excuse imo, players like rooney and ronaldo play something like 60 games a season, and they never get tired imo

Players like that are just naturally supremely fit. They still sit the odd game out and not many will perform at the same level on a Monday after just playing on a Sunday. At this level any sluggishness stands out like a sore thumb and is often punished.

Hopefully we can field our strongest side for both games, I am just saying don't be surprised if a couple/few don't feature in both.

Peterborough have won seven games all season. We have nearly three times as many points as them.

I think it's a bit ridiculous to moan about the changes when we should win anyway.
