sugoinufc
If the price is right I think we should go for Keirrison. He's obviously got potential and is still young. Also: His name was chosen by his father, as a tribute to rock musician Jim Morrison from The Doors and Keith Richards from Rolling Stones, and also an admiration for the letter K good enough reason to sign him imo. A-W-E-S-O-M-E ! ! ! sign him up! 4 mill euro sounds fair...no idea how good he is tbh!
thomas
Pardew makes it fairly clear in the SSN interview that we are looking to bring in the striker, and others "will depend on outgoings". Nothing we didn't know really, but I guess it rules out the chance of us signing a backup left back / CB (unless they are development players). They don't want to increase the wage bill, that's fine and understandable As for outgoings, choose from Xisco, Smith, Perch, Guthrie, Loven, Stroller erc.. and replace with cheap frenchies probably Far from losing sleep, I would probably rest easier if any/all of those went and only one or two brought in. TRon
Some Spanish site linking Granada, us, Spurs and a few others with Guiza. He looked good for Spain during the Euros when he came on as sub for a couple of games. Would be well pleased with that if there's any chance of it happening. jdckelly
Benayoun would be a good addition, one of my fav players. Signing a striker and LB is more important at the moment though. this, really like him but can't see it personally

SUPERTOON
On SSN, when asked about how we are looking ahead of saturday, he said we look good, Obertan's signing is great news, and there is some more good news to come. Maybe a reference to a signing or maybe Joey staying?

Ketsbaia
One in, one out isn't a bad thing when Perch, Raylor, Xisco and Smith exist.
Willow
While Gabriel Obertan was completing the formalities of his transfer at Darsley Park on Monday, yet another French- speaking player was attempting to earn a deal with United in a training ground reserve friendly. The as-yet un-named forward played 45 minutes, netting once in what was an 8-2 romp over a less experienced smoggy XI. Also on the scoresheet were Phil Airey (2), Sam Ameobi (2), Nile Ranger, Jeff Henderson and an OG.

If he managed to get to the ground and onto the pitch unnoticed its a bad sign. in fact wouldnt surprise me if it is Kuqi.

taxfree
In The People two days ago - NEWCASTLE, meanwhile, are chasing Peruvian starlet Paolo Hurtado – the new Nobby Solano – as Joey Barton’s potential replacement. The Toon have been tracking the Alianza Lima attacker for months after seeing him play for his country’s Under-20 side and they are teeing up a deal. Hurtado plays in the same position with a similar style to Geordie hero Solano. There will certainly be problems obtaining a work permit but the Magpies are researching to see if Hurtado, 20, has a European background so that he can qualify under those rules. Should be off now anyway.
