Guest Phil K
What a terrible match, my fault for sticking money on Portugal to win. not won a single bet this WC. If Ron spent less time throwing himself to the floor, he might actually do something interesting.
Foluwashola
I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but Robbie Earle has been sacked Hopefully this is the beginning of a shit pundit removal programme.
Yorkie
Can't say i've found any of the matches enjoyable. Missed Germany/Aus which appears to have been the only decent game played.
Thespence
Said elsewhere worst Brazil squad I have ever seen BUT watch them go as there players play with such confidence & swagger when they put on that yellow shirt. Our lot seem to be crumble under the pressure of playing for England. Brazil are use to teams putting men behind the ball so N.Korea will get blitzed if they do that. Dunga has them all pulling in the same direction, didn't mind leaving Ronaldinho and Adriano behind, and I'd dare say Brazil will still be lovely to watch. Perhaps not entirely spectacular but fluid and of course oh so comfortable on the ball.

They're absolutely devastating on the break like which will be handy in the latter rounds.
Village Idiot
I'm still enjoying the World Cup of course, just not as much as I expected. Hopefully things will heat up in the following group matches as there's room to fuck around in the first one. And yes, Brazil are my favorites too. David28
On the positive in this World Cup: It can only get better. And it will imo. Teams will have to risk something and won't be happy with draws anymore come the 2nd group matches.
JH
I was gutted when I found out I'd be working full time in June. Now it appears to not have been a bad decision. All the highlights I've seen and all the full nighttime games I've watched have been utter shite - teams are being too hesitant and too cautious. They should be throwing all 11 players forward to try and put on a show - this thing only comes round once every four years, teams can't afford to sit back.
