Van der Wiel Robben Kaka Sanchez Gyan Higuain honerable mention to rommedahl, who would be at least on the bench had denmark made it through to the last 16. Imo he's been involved in the matches, has had some very nice passes and shots but is still lacking that something in the final third. He's definitely not quiet, though, and his ability to provide space for his teammates has been crucial (the Higuain goals against S Korea being a key example). I wish he would score, though. That's also why I don't think he deserves to be in the best 11 so far, even though he has played well. Can't help but think that he could have achieved so much more by passing the ball instead of going for glory on many of those occations. There's still time for him to make this "his" world cup though, and I think he will have a lot more space when facing better teams who won't man mark him through a whole game, like most teams up until now has done. He's not been up to Barca standard, but obviously he doesn't have the same quality of players around him, so I think its more a case of him just doing it less often. Haha, I know, but he's been such a good full back along with Maicon and Lahm I couldn't leave one out so just stuck him in there.
