triggs
Is it not just a German tradition to thank the fans regardless of result? Anyway, their results are all over the place right now. Dunno what to think. Their preferred style doesn't lend itself to playing well against Newcastle or West Brom
Jaqen
Think Benteke is a poor fit, they looked much better playing without a striker.
Guest
Bit of a c*** there mind. Not watching. What happened? Not shaking Pulis' hand because of their football and moaning about their style of football in his interview. We know what Pulis and WBA are all about. He should be good enough to wipe the floor with them, not get a lucky draw.

LFC already rubbing off on him.
AyeDubbleYoo
I detest Pulis and his style, but it's fun to see people get wound up about him too.
Guest
He sort of held his hand up as if to say 'nope' then walked towards The Kop. Refused to acknowledge any of their staff.
Astroblack
I can respect it. He knows he doesn't have the resources to beat them so he plays to the strengths of the team. If they tried to play, they'd be relegated.
Klaus
Not very impressed by Klopp there like. Fair enough, west brom are a pain in the arse, and their football is awful to watch. But to just fuck them off and refuse to shake hands is pathetic.
samptime29
Snide Klopp there tbf. I mean Pulis is a cock but still....

Dunno what to think. Their preferred style doesn't lend itself to playing well against Newcastle or West Brom Liverpool or Klopp? Because Klopp's Dortmund would have annihilated us. Liverpool aren't going to be a Klopp team until earliest next season, maybe even longer depending on what he's allowed to do in the transfer market. Guest firetotheworks
He's on that arch of being new and exciting and everyone liking him. Cut to a few years down the line when everyone's bored of it and it comes off as attention seeking. I hope not mind, I really like his honesty. Cut to a few years down the line when everyone's bored of it and it comes off as attention seeking. I hope not mind, I really like his honesty. He's extremely passionate (part of the reason he worked so well at Dortmund), it's not the first time he's acted out a bit and it won't be the last. Never feels like a twat when he does it though, compared to the likes of Pardew.

Jaqen
Refusing to shake hands because you don't like your opponent playing long balls is really petty like. Especially how he was acting like he was best mates with Pulis before the game.
Away Toon
He's used to playing in front of a magnificent set of fans at Dortmund and must be wondering why the majority of premier league games are played in some sort of mausoleum deathly silence for most of the game including at Anfield and St. James. No wonder he was out on the pitch trying to get some life into them.
Parky
This stuff about the support is a distraction isn't it..? He's beginning to realise this isn't going to be easy. Moaning about the support for 2/3 weeks then doing the in arms thing smacks of delusion and the kind of messianic complex prevalent in Germany. Today was the first real sign of a chink in his armour and wagging his finger at Pulis instead of shaking hands was unsporting, especially as they only gained a draw with a deflected goal in the 96th min. Only the other day they spent half the game going long to Benteke. Think the PL can be shock in the sense that results at elite clubs have to be almost instantaneous. We'll ideally see the panic buy of 2/3 Krauts at vastly inflated fees. The clock has started. I might have a chance.

John P
Not sure why people on here seem to have a problem with the players thanking the fans at the end of the game. Actually shows some respect and connection to the fans, something that pretty much every team in Germany, and virtually no team in England, has. Would people rather the players just fucked off down the tunnel with a face like a smacked arse?

Would people rather the players just fucked off down the tunnel with a face like a smacked arse? It's forced, try-hard bollocks. If the players genuinely want to thank the fans, let them do it. Would rather they weren't ordered to piss about holding hands after an embarrassing result against a Pulis side. Our lads coming across to the Newcastle fans yesterday was the other end of the scale. Genuine emotion for once.
