Tooj
Nah, he's still absolutely s*** imo and him starting says it all about us atm. What did he do wrong today like? Pathetic how due to people's agendas they won't give somebody credit. I don't have an agenda man. Jesus! I just think he's s*** and today, although wasn't as bad, still showed the fundamental things that are so s*** about him and that were still there. Taking unnecessary risks, losing the ball in dangerous areas, misplaced passes, rash challenges, not tracking the opposition midfield. It's fair to say that I notice it more because I think he's crap, but that doesn't mean I have an agenda. I just think he has crap for brains and if he's not simply breaking up play and then playing it simple he gets found out as being s***. That wasn't him today like. I disagree. Because of your agenda. Smal
Just having a look at the club's Twitter and he's definitely up for sale http://gyazo.com/1ce6bc8787ffca4e32fcadcffad06fd3.png
loki679
He had a decent enough game but he'll get no credit for that from me. After the shocking season he's had a few decent performances are the least we could ask for.
Cajun
Wouldn't be bothered in the slightest if he went this summer
Shush
Seems to be getting shitter at breaking up play and tackling. If he can't sort that out and get back to his first season form then he is useless to us. Still not happy with his sloppy passing at times either. Skirge
No way am I going to write him off yet, give him half a season to find form, he was ok today until he got hit in the eye.
Ketsbaia
His passing is getting worse and worse, it's pub league standard at best. He's more than a liability.
TRon
I thought he was okay tbh, seemed to be keeping it fairly simple mostly.
Dinho lad
Looks way short of confidence, for whatever reason.

No wonder Cabaye is dropping so deep when our holding midfielder has been abysmal on the ball.
Cajun
No way am I going to write him off yet, give him half a season to find form, he was ok today until he got hit in the eye. Wasn't that MYM? My only memory of him today was us breaking and him making and absolutely abysmal pass (not trying anything defence splitting or anything), the Arsenal player getting the ball and them countering us. Sad thing is it felt like deja vu, well more groundhog day. Maybe I am exaggerating but to me I remember him causing us more problems this season than stopping them and despite Pardew's many, many faults I struggle to point the finger at him for Tiote's horrific passing. Shush
It was defo Tiote who got the eye poke.
Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
Not our weakest link but if we can upgrade him for someone who has a reasonable physical presence, can pass, can score 4-5 goals and get a couple of assists, can go up for corners , I wouldn't object to him leaving
Jordan
Hate this bloke. He's shit, can't even pass 6 yards.
Jordan
That 5 yard pass straight to Oxlade-Chamberlain summed him up today. Mindless and dreadful.
Cajun
He did some sort of roll back/backheel in the first half where he clearly wasn't paying attention to where anyone was, it ended up harmlessly bobbling to our player (can't remember who) but it was the sort of "fancy" stuff he has tried a few times this season with a few of them going wrong. It is needless stuff like that and the failure to make simple passes that have made me lose all faith in him. I will probably feel a little less strongly tomorrow but I don't think he would be a huge loss unless he sorts himself out.
Ronaldo
If he sorts himself out is he a huge loss? I'm fed up of advocates of passing football talking about us giving Tiote more chances. On his best day he's a midfield destroyer that slows down play, gives away stupid fouls and offers about as much attacking threat as Amdy Faye. Cajun
If he sorts himself out he is definitely an asset to the squad. If the team had confidence in him and we had a manager who wanted to play football he would also allow the more talented players a bit more freedom. At the moment Cabaye needs to sit right by him because there is the very likely danger he is going to pass it to an opposition player so Cabaye cannot commit himself too far forward. Ronaldo
A DM who can't be trusted to receive the ball from the defence is not an asset to anyone.
Cajun
Isn't that what I said? When he was at his best for us his passing accuracy was one of the highest in the league. A player who can sit, break up play and be trusted to play it simple would be a good compliment to a side with a lot of attack minded players (Say Cisse, Cabaye, Sissoko, Ben Arfa and Gouffran). Especially in games against better opposition.
Wullie
His passing accuracy when he joined was scarily high for a while. When we beat Arsenal at the Emirates, it was 100% iirc. So glad Pardew has tried to make him "our Essien".
