Conjo
Why not just play him until he is one card away, and then make him sit out rest of the games, if any. If he gets a yellow against Birmingham, and he sits out the rest of the games, maybe that will make him think about being a bit more careful next season. I know he hasn't deserved all of them, but it's still to many.
Fugazi
If Chelsea beat Man U would be interesting to see Fergie's reaction if we suddenly left out Tiote for our visit to the Bridge! Although if I was one of the ones who has paid £50 for a ticket I would be wanting to see him play. Would be karma for fielding a weakened team against Hull the day we were relegated. Didn't they win that match though?

Kuszczak, Rafael Da Silva (Eckersley 60), Neville, Brown, De Laet (Possebon 79), Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Welbeck (Tosic 87), Martin, Macheda.
Guest
When you think that for the mostpart of the season our side has been our Championship squad plus Tiote and should finish safe mid-table...then Tiote >>>>>>>>>> Martins, Owen, Viduka, Beye, Duff & Bassong combined. That is all.
Guest Loven11
CHEICK TIOTE reckons that his central midfield partnership with Kevin Nolan will be even stronger next season. But he wants to make sure that the dynamic duo sign off from the current campaign with a bang – starting against Birmingham City tomorrow. The Blues were no match for the Toon pair back in February when United triumphed 2-0 at St Andrew’s. And after some outstanding displays by Tiote in front of the back four and 12 goals from Nolan this season, the Ivory Coast warrior has revealed his desire to keep the partnership going next season. He told the Chronicle: “Kevin Nolan’s my man in midfield! He’s helped me, and done everything for me. “I want to say thanks to him for that.” Tiote confessed he has improved greatly since signing from FC Twente but feels he can get even better next term. The 2010 World Cup ace said: “I think I’ve improved as a player this season. “If you are a new player, you have to show the players at the club you have the quality to improve in this team. I think I have done that this season. “I hope I do well next season as well – I think I can improve.” When the dust settles on the 2010/11 campaign Tiote’s emergence as one of the bargains of the season will be amongst the highlight of an up-and-down campaign for the Magpies. Tiote reflected on a season of progress but says it is far from over with three games remaining that could elevate the black-and-whites to a top-10 finish. He said: “I think this season, my first in England, has been good. “It’s been very hard, but the team has helped me. I’m happy for that. “We have to stay together to finish the last games.” Tiote signed a long-term contract until the 2016/17 season in February and he feels that regular first-team action has been the key to his happiness. The 24-year-old former Anderlecht and Roda JC player said: “It’s different to last season in Holland, as I wasn’t playing too many games. “Now I have adapted to English football, and I’m happy with how I have done this season. “The key is now to build on this and carry it through to next season where we hope to have an even better year.”

Skirge
Nolan seems to be loved by the squad mind, credit to him for what he must do to help out that way.

Skeletor
I wonder if him and Gervinho are good friends. Or at the very least if Tiote is good at kidnapping?

Skeletor
One more yellow card and he gets a 3 game suspension going into next season.
Guest palnese
Send him on a well deserved holiday.
Conjo
Judging by his reaction to the yellow that might be the case.
Stifler
Aye, job done, lets not risk him anymore. Don't send him on holiday, still keep him in training, just don't play him unless we have too.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Too risky to play him any more this season. Who knows who we'll play instead of him though!
bealios
Out of interest, if he was sent off with two yellow against Chelsea, would that mean he missed West Brom on an automatic one game ban (and not trigger the 3 game ban for the bookings?)
Skeletor
Play him against Chelsea but tell him that if he gets booked he needs to get another one in the last minute so that it's downgraded to a 1 game suspension.
Guest palnese
Too risky to play him any more this season. Who knows who we'll play instead of him though! Fergie left, Jonas right, Barton and Nolan in the middle. That's pretty much our only option atm.
The Prophet
Play him against Chelsea but tell him that if he gets booked he needs to get another one in the last minute so that it's downgraded to a 1 game suspension. It would be four games.
