Wullie
Definitely off the pace but don't think it's anything to worry about. Happy to have him start the season shit anyway, less chance of someone putting a late bid in.

Fenham Mag
Got to admit he was poor today, still love him to pieces.
Ronaldo
Thought he was great in the second half. Poor in the first.
Ishmael
Just getting up to speed imo. Will be back to his glorious best in a couple of games time.
David Icke - Son of God
He was trying to do too much and getting closed down. In the second he got better but he lost the ball far too much in the first. Still, I've no doubt he'll get back to his best as he gets back on the pace. Shak
Looked a liability at times tbh, great to see our midfielders showing for the ball but you can't go trying the shit he does. Very lucky to have not cost us a goal today.
thenige
The Stevenage game excluded, probably the worst game he's had in the black and white. Saying that have absolute confidence that with a bit more training and match fitness he'll quickly get back to his best.
TherealnorthernTOON
Ran into many peculiar situations today. Either he just didn't want too or Pardew had told him to carry the ball upfield. Because he seemed like passing it back to defence at times was a "not a chance in hell I'll do that"-thing.
Ryan_Taylor
Looks a bit off the pace still. Should play in the cup
Ikon
He's not razor sharp yet, that takes alway a lot of your quality when you cant play as good as you want. No worries about him.
Guest Rey Mysterio
Both him and Cabaye appear to be slightly off the pace and have done ok but will only improve. Get the feeling in a couple of games time, which could also coincide with the return of Hatem, they're both going to click and were going to shit all over someone
David Icke - Son of God
I don't think it was a case of him changing his game, he just looked a yard off the pace. His usual trick of winning the ball, turning out of trouble and getting rid didn't work as well because he's not match fit and with it being a derby players are looking to close down all the time. When he had time on the ball he still made some good passes, but he did get caught quite a bit.

TherealnorthernTOON
Think the whole team looks like they need a few suicide laps tbf. Sunderland lost the game, but they ran alot more then Newcastle today. The boys need to get the fitness in order for the next games. If this goes on for too long we will loose matches, and alot of them.
Cajun
Tiote doesn't lack physical strength, he just allows others a chance.
oldtype
It's no surprise we lack fitness given our holocaust of our pre-season. It will come. It has to be seen as a positive that despite our team being far from ready, we've picked up 4 points from two very hard fixtures. (Well, one very hard one and one piss easy one ) As the players build match fitness and the new signings start to gel, we'll only get better.

Lush Vlad
Covered a lot of ground and was usually solid enough, a few class deft touches. As others have said though, he turned into trouble a few times and wanted too long on the ball. He said himself he feels short of match fitness and doesn't feel sharp after the Arsenal game. Said he thinks it would be 2 or 3 games before he is back to his usual self.
