Even though he's hardly played?

And he's been the best CM we've played this season? (Shelvey and Saivet withstanding?

He has had two decent games for us recently, but lets not let that get in the way of the last few years. He's been shite way more than he's been great.

Oh in not, he been abysmal on a fair few occasions over the last few years, I'm just saying he's been better the Colback and Anita whenever he's played this season, not that it's hard mind

Tiote's one of the biggest on-field reasons we've won so few games at home in recent years. It's written somewhere that against a mediocre side in May he gets sent off for a second bookable offence moments after gifting the opposition a goal with a wayward pass, thus sealing our relegation. He shouldn't even be on the bench.

Never been sent off for two yellows in the league for us IIRC.

Correct - only been sent off twice for us in his entire time here. Its an absolute myth that he has disciplinary problems.

Ronaldo just can't ever face it that his hyperbole leads him to making ridiculously over the top assessments of a player which he then can't back down from. Much though I'd like for Saivet to hit the ground running, it still would make more sense to ease him in gradually and leave the centre midfield to Tiote and Shelvey who should complement nicely assuming Tiote's head is right.

Lots of people seem pro Tiote starting, but honestly I'll be surprised if we see him in a NUFC shirt more than a handful of times before he's off in the summer. We've tried to sell him already, we've bought his replacement, as well as a 2nd central midfielder AND a winger that could displace a player that could potentially play centrally. PLUS, we still have super Gouffran to fill the spot if called upon.

Steve don't like Cheik, he's sold him once, he'll sell him again.

I'm guessing that means he didn't actually sell him the first time, but I can't be bothered to fact cheik. Either way, he did not play all that much for Steve at Twente, and was clearly surplus to requirements.

[emoji38] Nah it's not like. He gets yellows within the first half all the time and then has to stop tackling people for half the game. It's daft.

[emoji38] He got about 20 yellows one season. Referees were writing his name down in the book before the game to get a bit admin done straight away.

You mean like when you said Sir Alex wanted to build his team around him?

Officials really don't like this lad scoring crackers.

Man City one was a disgrace... This one probably not so much.

Will guarantee another few years of "shoooot" though.

He won't be here past this season.
