That's how terrible he's been
Jack Flash
He set up the second goal and had one cleared off the line. For Ameobi that's an 8/10.
JH
The 'set up' which was probably also the only header he won in the entire match
Jack Flash
From what I remember he completely missed his first attempt to head the ball in the build up The second attempt was brutal. After than he did nothing and people around me still chant his name
TBG
After than he did nothing and people around me still chant his name "Shola Shola Give us a wave Shola Shola Give us a wave"

nufc4eva
He was fucking shocking, and him and lovenkrands want shot for not getting on the end of one of the balls fizzed across the box by Jose and lua , shola just does not seem to have any urgency. Best does !
Bad Mongo
To be fair to Shola, he really is the incarnation of the club's spirit: a bungling disaster that sometimes somehow gets your hopes up; a great inspiration for bipolar disorder in any fan. If you hate Shola, you also hate Newcastle United.
Rosenrot
As much as I hate Shola, I love Shola.
Scoreboard82
One of his laziest ever displays yesterday. It annoys me that he's doing what most of us can only dream of, playing regularly in the Newcastle 1st team, and he just can't be bothered. I suppose he's a bit of a cult figure after all these years, but after performances like yesterday you could easily swap the 3rd letter in cult for another. Tooj
There was a moment in the second half, when he miscontrolled a pass and it went straight out for a throw-in. The bloke that sits next to me started going mental and came out with "Seriously man? How the fuck does he even get dressed in the morning? Does he get somebody to wipe his arse for him as well?" Guest toonlass
My oldest bairn just said "how many songs are there about Shola?" and my middle bairn said, quick as owt, "There can never be enough songs about Shola"
BlueStar
There was a moment in the second half, when he miscontrolled a pass and it went straight out for a throw-in. Even worse, he got it under control, took another touch and then lost it again.

BONTEMPI
Shola's like an old horse. You know he can't pull the plough anymore and he's costing you money, but you just can't bring yourself to pull the trigger.
