AyeDubbleYoo
Hopefully Sunday was the last time we will ever have to see him play for us again.
Mike
I genuinely could not imagine the team without Shola. We would miss him if he were gone.
Wullie
I genuinely could not imagine the team without Shola. We would miss him if he were gone. In all seriousness, I'd definitely miss his spot kicks. Makes Matthew Le Tissier look like Gareth Southgate.

David Icke - Son of God
I'd be very disappointed if he were to leave now. He's a cult hero, he's part of the furniture and as infuriating as he can be at times I've actually grown to like his unsightly gait and innate ability to leave his man flat footed with a lovely piece of skill before shinning the ball out of play. There's a generation of kids who have grown up knowing only one thing in life - that win, lose or draw Shola is sure to do something with is going to incur the spittle flecked fury of 52,000 Geordies. Fuck it, I'm in love Shola.

wormy
We're blatantly going to have Ameobis on our books for the next 50 years at least, like.
ChrisMcQuillan
Shola's like an old horse. You know he can't pull the plough anymore and he's costing you money, but you just can't bring yourself to pull the trigger. Hand me the gun. No more old horse. Guest Vinkent
Old horse? David28
He won't take it. He's been 23 for years and in the end his dream is that, one day, people won't be talking about the club's Nr. 9 anymore, but about the club's legendary Nr. 23.

Tisd09
I don't think we give Shola enough credit. Eating apples whilst riding a bike is rock like. I came really close to hitting a fucking cyclist eating a fucking apple yesterday, the tosser was all over the place.
