St1pe
If we get turned over down there, Shola scores and I see Pardew gloating in his post-match interview I'll quit football forever.

maybe_next_year
It's great to finally be able to laugh at him and Pardew.
nemtizz
Palace fans don't seem too upset about it either.
The College Dropout
I do dislike it being at Palace expense I must say. Just knowing what a great opportunity this is for the club and they'll let Pardew ruin it. And ruin it he will.
Guest dazzanufc1892
must have demanded the number 23 in his negotiations, he has made that number what it is after all

joeyt
Y'all ready for this? I’m very excited to be here, I wanted to get back in the Premier League and having worked with the manager before it’s been great to come back and hopefully help us avoid the relegation battle. I had a couple of other clubs interested but I think my relationship with Alan [Pardew] and how much I enjoyed working with him was one of the big factor in my decision. He instils confidence in players and he always seems to get the best out of them, certainly he did that at Newcastle and hopefully he can do that for me and the rest of the lads here. AyeDubbleYoo
I spotted that, and also "Shola's hold up play has always been quality. He`ll offer a really useful outlet in tight games".
nemtizz
Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas 1m1 minute ago Pardew wanted Shola as player-coach so no surprise to see him join him at Selhurst Park. Good luck to him (apart from Feb 11 & April 11)
KaKa
Man this is going to be fun ... if only we had our stuff in order.
Guest Bert Shaft
Wonder if smarmy c* nt Pardew has thanked his new chairman publicly for getting this transfer over the line yet?

themanupstairs
I love Shola Ameobi as long as he stays well clear of this club. In this case I couldn't be happier for Palace getting such a...."talented" forward. His first feature on the Palace website will be about how this is his year! steve_69
It has begun! I'm attributing Palace's winning run to-date on legacy work done by the previous regime and the feel good factor around the club. I refuse to believe anything else. Pardew has now signed his 'chaos' striker and the obligatory big guy to lump the ball to. Give it a couple more weeks and the players will start to adapt to his brand of football, then it's all downhill from there.
Superior Acuña
They've still got Peter Ramage on their books too - out on load. They could have a best-of-Newcastle core.
