Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Aye, I was fuming with that. Carroll busted his smoker's lungs to cut that ball back and there was no one there. For all his faults, chances are Nolan would have been there to shoot straight at the keeper.
Magpie
More effective than Gutherie was yesterday. And Lovenkrands for that matter who was anonymous. If that's what we can expect from playing Lovenkrands then keep Nolan in I say!
Guest GallowgateKev
We were superb against Wigan without Nolan eh lads!
Dave
We also conceded two goals, therefore Enrique and Coloccini are dogshit.
JH
We were superb against Wigan without Nolan eh lads! Aye, he could have brought some of the magic he brought in the Blackpool and Stoke games. At least we didn't lose this one...

Elliottman
nolan was proper kicking off on friday at the pub cause he was dropped by hughton haha The wife was on the pitch on saturday and the coach that took her and the kids on was having a chat with the adults, told them Nolan had been training with the reserves the past few days and they didnt know why? ive also heard (and dont shoot the messenger) he punched Shola!! haha very much doubt this, but the first part is interesting
Skeletor
Shola is probably one of the least punchable people in our squad. Even if he's very frustrating punching him is still kinda like punching Ralph Wiggum.
broonalegeordie
you couldn't punch a biblical gent like sholaaaa
Colos Curls
Does shola even train with the team? I've always pictured him as a Ledley king type player who doesn't need to train and just shows up on match days with his apples and a bag of skills? Ketsbaia
whatever he's done it must be bad. firstly he is left out the squad, then he gets lumped with Carroll.
Thespence
Tbf Nolans house was the only players home that already enough food in for a extra guest staying.

Guest palnese
I think he did okay today. Another goal, and decent in possession. He's way too slow and I don't think he ran his socks off today, but still, a decent shift form him.
Yorkie
Permanent fixture on the teamsheet away from home. Nolan's slow but he'll keep possession and chase players. We play a pressure game away from SJP and he's suitable for such a role. Wouldn't play him at SJP though, where we badly need some flair and guile. Mick
Creditwhere credit is due, he didn't have a bad game today even if he did go missing at times. I'd be happy to see him play every week if he always played like that.
Keefaz
Did nowt, scored. Typical Nolan performance.
Pilko
He seems to play better away from home imo. The Man U no-show aside, his better performances have been on the road.
Dave
Personally I think he had one of his infamous 'did virtually nowt but scored' performances today. Standard stuff. When it works, I'm happy.
Mick
Did nowt, scored. Typical Nolan performance. He did well and allowed others around him to play further up the field so we weren't left out-numbered up front.
