BrettNUFC
He's definitely not going to make the WC squad.
Newcastle Fan
I'm liking the fact that we'll still get to see him in the EPL.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
Still more useful to us than the likes of Sammy, Gosling and Obertan, wouldn't have been my first choice to move on but I certainly wont lose any sleep over it, hes been on the decline since the end of the 11/12 season. Wish him all the best though.
sugoinufc
What a great person - he played some good football here, unfortunately its 2 years ago or so. Its right to end it now. Good luck - hope you sign for Norwich and Chris

binnsy
delia has been on the cooking sherry again if we are fleecing £3m out of them. I would still try and put something in the deal to stop him playing against us next week, you just know he'd score the winner.
Willow
aww, when he signed: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/7485216.stm

NoU
What nice move. I have huge respect for all parties involved (except us maybe).
Skirge
£3m is a good fee and its a good move for him and Norwich so good luck to him nothing but fondness for Jonas. Its not like we will replace him as Gouff has already done that, so where will the £3m go? new players wages or Ashley's casino fund..
Ronaldo
£3m. He's the last player Norwich need, too. Clueless.

Nobody
I must be missing something about this £3m thing. Why's it funny? Cause Jonas is shite.
Dave
Well even if he is, £3m is a very low fee for a Premier League club.
BillClinton
Don't really care about the fee, we could get 10 million for him and still not use the money..
Teasy
No matter how stingy Ashley is the fact is the less money the club brings in the more stingy he'll be. Its pretty silly IMO not to want us to get as much as possible for any player we sell.
Nobody
Well even if he is, £3m is a very low fee for a Premier League club. I'm not saying it's a brilliant fee, nor am I really laughing about it either, but it's about twice as much as I thought we would get for him. If there's any truth in that clause in his contract (I highly doubt it, mind), then I would have thought we would be willing to give him away pretty much on a free. I am probably one of his harshest critics mind, so maybe my opinion should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Guest Roger Kint
The fee plus about £2.5m+ in wages and stuff for a player we clearly werent going to use is a canny deal really. <Guess who wins again>
Shak
Surprised we're getting anything for him to be honest. I'll be happy when he's gone, I can go back to liking him then.
