He chipped it over the advancing keeper. That's a striker's technique usually. I recall Dyer used to get called by Robson for not putting his foot through it, but the best strikers IMO know there are several angles you can use to beat a keeper. This was a great finish no doubt. Honestly had no idea how good both goals were, or what they were even like. I sat in that row for the NUFC-Wigan game in 2007. Completely missed the Owen goal, only saw the Martins cross.
